Hoag Hospital Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Hoag (a separate 501(c)(3) corporation), is an integral partner in Hoag’s mission to become a trusted and nationally recognized health care leader. Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation conducts campaigns and programs that raise more than $100M in new gifts and pledges each year.

I currently support the Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Advancement with complex administrative support, strategy alignment, and project coordination/management.

MemorialCare, is a leading nonprofit health system in Orange County and Los Angeles County that includes four hospitals, two medical groups, imaging centers, surgical centers and more. 

As an executive assistant at MemorialCare Medical Foundation, I provided high-level administrative support to the COO and SVP of Physician Integration, the CFO, and the VP of Payor Contracting. I also served as the Board Liaison for the MemorialCare Medical Group (MCMG) and was a California Licensed Notary Public.

Reported to the Senior Director of Community and Population Health. Roles and responsibilities included complex administrative activities and project coordination tasks within the Ambulatory Care Network.

The Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) is responsible for leading the university’s alumni and fundraising efforts and seeks to promote a culture of philanthropy throughout the university community, including alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, corporations and foundations, patients, and friends. DAR’s goal is to advance GW’s mission of excellence in education, research, scholarship, and patient care.

The DA position provides programmatic and administrative support on various development and alumni relations activities. Core responsibilities for this position include supporting development professionals through various development initiatives, creating marketing materials, memorandums, letters, and gift agreements, serving as the primary point of contact for development-related events (dinners, meetings, receptions), and tracking activities related to development programs and initiatives.

For Love of Children

For Love of Children (FLOC) provides out-of-classroom educational services to DC’s under-resourced youth to help students succeed from second grade to college and beyond. FLOC serves 600 students annually with the support of over 400 volunteers. FLOC brings together students, volunteers, families, educators, and partners to teach, empower, and transform our community through education. 

The Program Coordinator is an essential internal role at FLOC under the supervision of the Program Manager. Responsibilities include guiding FLOC Programs (Neighborhood Tutoring Program and City Leader's Program) at multiple sites, conducting quality assurance during the program to ensure the curriculum is being implemented appropriately, and serving as the liaison between FLOC and local schools, local universities, and other partners.
