My role lives at the intersection of Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and Advertising. My work is to leverage the strength of each to lead the External Affairs strategy of the Norton Museum of Art.

Director of Communications

Cross Country Healthcare

Strategic brand liaison between Marketing, Creative Services, and Sales, leading and managing end-to-end brand marketing campaigns and sales presentations that are driving the business toward its $3B revenue goal
* Supported $500M+ of new revenue pipeline; $150M closed; worked with Sales Leadership to develop winning sales presentations and talk tracks
* Led the development of a new on-demand Presentation library: rebranded all decks and individual slides, refreshing messaging and increasing volume of slides by 175%
* Managed two outside creative agencies to support quick-turn projects and unanticipated volume spikes
* Led the marketing strategy for 2 back-to-back labor disruptions; new revenue of $10M+
* Partnered with cross-functional teams and organizational stakeholders to develop marketing strategies that support key business initiatives

Marketing & Presentations Director

Marketing hire #1 of a high-growth mature start-up as they prepared for acquisition. I used my extensive knowledge of enterprise-level SOPs and best practices to help Senior Leadership and Human Resources with brand and marketing strategy, internal and external communications, and creating a resilient employee culture that was poised for transition and continued growth.

* Collaborated with and supported HR on Internal Communications and Employee Engagement
* Completed an extensive brand audit of existing collateral and directed the creation of new templates for consistency, efficiency, and a modern brand aesthetic
* Created a marketing and content strategy designed to scale with the company as it grew
* Rebranded 4 social channels, increased follower counts and created a content calendar that leveraged both evergreen and timely content
* Collaborated with and supported Sales Enablement

Marketing Communications Director

The Palm Beach Post

Progressively promoted four times over 13 years, member of the Senior Leadership Team, division lead on the migration to a paid digital model and was instrumental in driving new subscription revenue through use of data, targeted media buys and digital display.

Results and Success
•	Collaborated with cross-functional / remote teams and leadership across the four Cox newspaper brands in a successful media rebrand and marketing campaign launch
•	Hired new talent when marketing team expanded to include audience engagement
•	Restructured media program, moving business from corporate location to a local, boutique vendor, resulting in a 49% increase of market penetration, enhanced brand perception and 15% year over year increased subscription sales, all while lowering media spend by 10%
•	Increased scope of marketing plan by 25%, showcasing digital-only content via social media and retargeting

Core Duties:
•	Led creative and strategic consumer marketing and branding of The Palm Beach Post’s suite of print and digital products, focusing on reader engagement, retention, and acquisition
•	Led execution of marketing campaigns and projects across all marketing channels including traditional and new media : broadcast, digital, internal communications, print, outdoor, social media
•	Planned and executed on a  two 2 million dollar media budget, managing all external vendor relationships and campaign planning
•	Directed the work of the community relations and event planning team, leveraging relationships with non-profits for customer acquisition, brand exposure, and community good will
•	Hired and mentored on site local and remote staff, including talent development and annual performance evaluations

Senior Marketing Manager

• Led consumer marketing campaigns of The Palm Beach Post
• Strengthened brand consistency through frequency campaigns and marketing communications and promotions, while leveraging in-house content for optimized reader engagement, retention, and acquisition
• Initiated new no-cost trade relationships and partnerships with local media and community organizations to maintain and increase brand awareness, while creating new selling avenues for Audience and Sales

Senior Marketing Manager - B2C

•	Managed a team of design and copy professionals
•	Oversaw consumer, internal and external client campaigns from concept to execution
•	Supported account executives, sales and revenue generation with collateral, presentations, creative, and data

Marketing Manager - Creative Team Leader

Wrote copy for broadcast, online, print, direct mail; created current brand tagline: Real News Starts Here; facilitated client brainstorming sessions, utilizing structured, proven ideation process to retain/grow existing accounts and gain new incremental revenue

Senior Copywriter, Project Manager, Brainstorming Facilitator

Marketing communications expert with a love for storytelling, revenue partnership, and creating impactful campaigns that drive brand engagement and revenue.

I excel at leading and coaching designers and copywriters, managing vendors and agencies, and creating end-to-end multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns. 

I am both a thinker and a doer and can switch easily between long-range strategies and meeting immediate triage needs. I am curious by nature, and a risk taker who will either succeed or fail fast, study the data and course correct.
