As CEO of Charlin Health Services (Home Health, Hospice, and Personal Care) my job is to navigate the current climate of healthcare at home in order to provide clear financial, clinical and cultural goals for excellent patient care. Responsible for training and empowering company executives to ensure compliance with Medicare and state and federal contracts. Reporting to Company Board regarding actual and forecasted financial budgets.

Chief Executive Officer

As Administrator and chief financial officer, accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of Charlin Home Health. Offering overall statistical monthly and yearly reporting to governing board including the development of financial and operational strategies, metrics involving strategies, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems formed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Home Health Administrator

As Administrator for Charlin Hospice LLC accountable for implementing and supervising the
administrative policies and operations of the agency and for administratively supervising
the provision of all services to agency patients on a day-to-day basis. 
Agency responsibilities include: 

- Ensuring Agency is in compliance with all applicable
federal, state, and local laws and regulatory agencies.
- Taking action on reports and recommendations of any
authorized planning, regulatory or inspection agencies.
- Ensuring staff education, evaluations and availability of
applicable regulations to all Agency staff, including
contractual providers.
- Enforcement of documentation of services is accurate and timely.
- Employs or contracts with qualified personnel.
- Implements an effective budgeting and accounting system
that promotes the health and safety of the Agency’s patients.
- Maintaining an ongoing liaison with the Board of Directors,
IDT, staff members and the community.
- Maintaining a current organizational chart to show lines of
authority down to patient level.
- Responsibility and authority for the administrative and
leadership functions of Agency.
- Ensuring maintenance of the appropriate personnel
records, administrative records, and policy and procedures
of Agency.
- Ensuring completion, maintenance and submission of
required reports.
- Maintaining knowledge of service systems in the
community served by Agency.

Hospice Administrator

Accountable for the all therapy auditing for compliance with Medicare guidelines for Home Health from remote access through company software. Developed appropriate documentation system for abbreviations and demonstration for patient goals addressing functional impairments. Working with QAPI company personnel to increase agency star rating for CMS for 2.5 to 4.5 stars in less that 2 years of hire.

QA/Therapy Auditor

St. Luke's Hospital

Working in the department of St. Luke's Inpatient Therapy Services, collaborating with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to ensure excellent and quality care given to all patients within the hospital. Implementing selected components of patient interventions (treatments), obtain data related to the interventions provided, working with doctors, nurses, dieticians, social workers and healthcare clinicians to make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort. 

In-hosptial therapy floor experience: 
Orthopedic post op (hip traditional and superpath, knee, shoulder replacement, fractures, ORIF, fall preventions) Neuro (Stroke, TIA, Traumatic Brain Injury patients, Back surgery post op, Neuropathy patients, etc) Cardiovascular post op, GI post op, Oncology, Step down ICU, CardioPulmonary, Med Surg unit, and Dementia/Psych unit.

Physical Therapist Assistant

Assisting all clinicians within St. Luke's Inpatient Therapy Services Department with patient transfers and transportation. Experience gained through therapist assistance with patient transfers from bed to chair, ambulation, wheelchair follow to prevent risk of patient falls, IV pole manipulation etc. Collaborating with fellow physical therapy techs in patient care and scheduling to promote healthy work environment.
