OYO is a Series F global hyper-growth tech startup (entered the U.S. market in early 2019) with ~$3B in funding from investors including SoftBank, Sequoia Capital, and Airbnb. Part of the launch team for northeast selling a suite of technology solutions (Including SaaS like applications, mobile, etc) to hotel owners and assets managers.  

- Developed strategy for the crucial northeast territory
- Built a new business sales team from scratch, including hiring, training, and managing 10 employees
- Team delivered the largest single signed deal in the U.S. market $2 million (ARR)

FCM Travel Solutions USA

FCM Travel Solutions is a Top 5 global travel management company delivering tech-based solutions (SaaS type applications, mobile AI, Big Data) for enterprise clients. Complex solution-selling involving long sales cycles and cross-functional collaboration often pulling together multiple departments including HR, Operations, Technology, Legal and Compliance.

- Sole responsibility for key NYC market 
- Selling into Fortune 500 companies
- Built $200m + pipeline from scratch within 18 months 
- Signed and implemented $10m+ (ARR) in new business sales with an average account size of $4M

Flight Centre Travel Group

FCTG is one of the world’s largest travel groups with ~$23B in turnover (2019). I joined one of their SMB corporate brands (FCBT) as a BDM and was promoted to Sales Manager before moving to New York to take the Head of Sales position in the U.S. FCBT is a B2B brand. Service selling. Short sales cycle.  

- Managed sales for a 50+ person brand nationally.
- Created a new sales process which led to a drop in lost inbound inquiry by over 50%.
- Increased profit margin by 12% within a 9-month period.
- Rolled out a SPIN methodology which increased conversion rate by 20%.

Head Of Sales

- Contributor role. Personally delivered £10.6M of new business in 4yrs. Team delivered £30M+ over same period.
- Most improved team (2014) Top Sales team in the UK (2016), Silver BDM while leading the team (2013-2014, 2016-2017) 
- Responsible for hiring, training, and developing a team of 6 BDM's. The team had the lowest turnover of BDM's within the brand during that period. 
- Asked to oversee all sales for the brand over 500k. Devised & implemented strategy for these prospects that increased conversion rate from 5% to over 25% resulting in £9M (ARR) in a 12 month period.
