LAT Enterprises is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leigh Academies Trust and exists solely to raise income to enhance the education of the 20,000 students who are enrolled at academies within Leigh Academies Trust. 

Within this role, I work alongside colleagues from the wider Estates team to generate income by hiring the Trust’s premises as well as other initiatives. 

As Business Development & Social Media Manager, I am the first point of contact for all new inquiries. I am responsible for managing each of our 31 academies, commercial portfolios, and developing business opportunities.

I manage our 4 social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn) in order to raise the company’s profile and generate leads. Since starting the role I have undertaken an audit of the social channels and done competitor research to inform the social media and content strategies that I have created and implemented. Along with mapping out a customer journey, working to our target audience, and implementing a monthly analytics report.

Kent Express Dental Supplies

Kent Express is the UK'S largest mail order dental supplier. As Digital Retention Executive I managed both our Social Media channels and Email Marketing along with being responsible for customer retention. Working with other colleagues in my team, the wider teams, and external dental suppliers.

Within my first 6 months, I had increased our social media stats across the board and won my team the 'Best Use of Social Media award at the Dental Industry Awards 2018 with stats increasing year on year. I also saw an increase in both Open Rate and Click Through Rate on our emails along with an increased revenue year on year. 

My main responsibilities included: 
•Managing the social channels and email marketing (planning, strategy, creation, scheduling, and analysis)
•Customer Loyalty and Retention - creating and working on campaigns to increase customer loyalty and retention. Even working on a proposal for a loyalty scheme. 
•I also wrote some articles for our quarterly flyers along with external articles on the Dentistry's website.

Anchor Foster Care is a well-established not-for-profit, independent fostering agency. Within this role, I worked with the wider team and stakeholders. Increasing awareness of fostering and of Anchor Foster Care along with managing both internal and external communications and marketing.

I  managed multiple projects which include; creating brand guidelines, an overhaul of the website including implementation of a new site and system along working on a multi-channel marketing campaign with the KM Group.

•Website - reviewing and updating Anchor website; Search Engine Optimisation (SEO),  promotion, content creation and updates, structure, review, monitoring, and reporting of Web Analytics. Primary contact for web developers and other external web agencies.

•Social Media – Managing the social media channels; promotion, content updates, structure, review, monitoring, and reporting of Social Media Analytics and KPIs.

•Copywriting/Content - Coordinating, creating, editing, and posting content for Anchor website, social media channels, and up-keeping the events calendar. Coordinate, edit and send ‘Director’s Bulletin’ to staff and carers.

•Design - creation, production, and delivery of campaigns, publicity materials, and merchandising, liaising with external designers if required. 

•Supporting Recruitment and Marcoms and other functions with events, administration tasks, presentations, IT, and other duties as required.

I was brought on in an interim role during a restructure to work in the communications department. I worked on different forms of communication and liaised with various different people. Supporting Senior Communications Officers to deliver communications plans for departments across the council, including meeting with and briefing officers, developing plans and tactics, copywriting, producing press releases, briefing designers and arranging print;
