Responsibilities included:
• Setting strategy and direction for the team: using knowledge and insight to decide upon areas of research, develop new products and services.
• Execution of syndicated analysis: working closely with the team to implement a strategy for the successful completion of the syndicated portfolio for the major therapeutic areas.
• People management and development: managing a team of professionals who are responsible for delivering a range of high value syndicated reports.

• Produced high quality reports containing in-depth analysis of the market for neurology, psychiatry and pain drugs across the major pharmaceutical markets. This involved conducting primary and secondary research in order to: review clinical unmet needs, assess the clinical and commercial attractiveness of marketed drugs and pipeline agents, evaluate R&D trends and lifecycle management strategies and identify key commercial opportunities and challenges.
• Sized markets through manipulation of prescription sales data in Excel.
• Constructed proprietary forecast models to produce revenue forecasts.
• Interviewed international key opinion leaders (KOLs) to obtain insight on key clinical unmet needs and the clinical and commercial potential of developmental drugs.
• Managed own project timelines and ensured timely report delivery. 
• Supported subscription clients (major pharmaceutical and biotech companies) with timely and high value support.
• Managed reports written by analysts in satellite offices in India and China.
• Attended and reported from international medical conferences. 

Key achievements included: 
• Two promotions: Associate Analyst to Analyst in August 2007 and Analyst to Senior Analyst in February 2010.
• Drove expansion of the team’s portfolio to include reports on orphan diseases and emerging markets.
• Publication of a two page article in Nature Drug Discovery Reviews in May 2010. The article presented my analysis of the anticonvulsant drug market.

The Clinical Psychology Department and National Spinal Injuries Centre (NSIC) at Stoke Mandeville Hospital is internationally respected for its innovative and pioneering work, providing care for 30% of adult spinal cord injuries within NHS England. It also leads provision for children's spinal cord injury care. 
My role was based within multi-disciplinary clinical teams across two hospital sites.

Responsibilities:
- Assisted with neuropsychology testing and clinical audits. 
- Conducted literature reviews and developed research proposals.
- Collaborated with academics in Europe to initiate a multi-centre research study. 
- Edited doctoral theses for publication in peer-reviewed journals and liaised with editors.
