Senior Account Manager, DACH Enterprise

My role as individual contributor in the strategic account management team DACH, is to elevate our customer’s value realization across all Atlassian solutions by partnering throughout the customer journey to optimize revenue retention and growth. Creating lasting, value-driven solutions to customer challenges through understanding and addressing the complexity of customer operations and systemic challenges. Focusing on building strong relationships and acting as consultative partner.

My role consists of helping our customers to realise business value with the Medallia solution portfolio. Through partnering with other teams, including channel, product specialists, and solutions engineers I am able to close net new deals and renew existing customers.

As Sales Director for the DACH region, my team and I help transform leading Enterprises and global organisations through implementing social listening strategies and digital market-research projects.

Moreover, I:

- lead and support a small team of sales professionals
- manage our regional pipeline, forecast and improve internal processes to ensure efficiency
- develop and maintain deal close plan, construct and execute sales strategy and align our proposition to client's selection process
- develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers from new or existing customers
- act as main point of contact for resolution and escalation of Brandwatch DACH's key sales-pursuit related items
- work closely with DACH marketing and BDR to support a steady and qualitative valuable pipeline

As a key member of the Direct Revenue Enterprise Sales Team for the DACH region, I:

- Manage a large portfolio of DACH Tier 1 and 2 prospects and clients in the media, automotive, healthcare and beauty industries as well as contacts in the NGO or government sectors. 
- Retain and ensure proper handling and care of existing client accounts, whilst strategically upselling.
- Consistently secure new accounts, resulting in overachieving personal quarterly MRR targets and personal Sales Quotas through building strong relationships that last.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitor activity, and adjust my sales approach to address latest market developments.
- have experience with digital media, and a good understanding of trends in the digital and social media space.
- Plan, create and deliver a variety of sales presentations and public speeches at conferences, as well as RFP documentations and proposals.
- Independently negotiate details of contracts and payments and prepare sales contracts and order forms, as well as estimate and quote prices, credit and contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.

- Administered the granting of rights for Comic Relief footage and sold said footage for profit  ­   
- Created contracts and licenses as well as negotiated license fees  
- Managed all content, including content curation and content organisation, efficiently and to a highly organised standard 
- Successfully dealt with all clearance and rights issues whilst managing a full archive and media library.  
- managed a team of runners during production times, whilst being first point of call for all archive requests.
