I am a Senior Strategic UX Consultant / Leader available for contract UX or research roles, where I can employ my experience in the private, education and local government sectors. My significant expertise covers a range of disciplines, including user experience research, design and architecture and helping Agile teams to deliver high-quality user experiences in digital mediums focussed on product design across a wide range of industries and contexts. My key strengths include working as a project leader or individual contributor undertaking research activities such as interviews, personas, user journeys and service experience maps to build productive information bases. I also deliver winning design, encompassing user testing, prototyping, interface design and development support and create architecture processes such as card sorts, tree tests, information architectures and service blueprints. I have a wide range of project successes, including working with the OU conducting usability tests that revealed significant weaknesses in the architecture and content design and making recommendations that improved functionality and ease of implementation. I also worked with Roche, suggesting comprehensive interface design and information architecture improvements; Lead UX with the ONS, contracted to plan and execute the entire user-experience approach; and led a project to develop a self-service licensing portal for Arm.
