Chelsea Rustrum puts her energy into the intersections of web3 and evolving economic models, physical spaces, and the growth that happens inside the consciousness of every human - also known as transformation. Transformation can happen personally, economically, digitally, and through experiences inside of shared spaces. I work at the intersection of all these things. She led a movement (and authored a book) during early sharing economy in the Silicon Valley, co-founded a global web3 agency, created a retreat center in a Francis of Assisi convent Italy, and continues to speak all over the world on importance for shared value and ownership. BLOCKCHAIN + SHARING ECONOMY The sharing economy is the perfect segue to a value and values-based economy, which distributes and shares value with all of the participants, creating marketplaces and ecosystems as we’ve never seen before. This intersection provides the foundation for endless experimentation with new models that push against our ingrained ways of thinking about society, progress, value, and distribution of said value. With AI on the rise, our new challenge is how we think about and organize not just labor, but also systems of value and the ownership of production itself.
