Head of Boards product line. Conceptualized, architected, and launched a new product line for the company. Mattermost Boards is an open source, self-hostable alternative to project and work management solutions like Trello, Notion, Asana, and Jira. You can download the Personal Edition from the Mac and Windows App Stores, or host it on your own server.

• Developer #2 on a team of up to 7 developers who built a multi-million dollar Microsoft product from start to ship in 18 months: Microsoft Office Business Scorecard Manager 2005 (shipped in Sept. 2005).
• Architected and built the server layer, multi-threaded distributed OLAP and ODBC hybrid-source query engine, and the SharePoint-based view environment (C#, ASP.NET).
• Also worked on Microsoft Office Business Scorecard Accelerator (shipped in 2004)

Software Development Engineer

MSN Supportability (MSN-wide customer-support CRM software)
• Designed and led implementation of Passport based user-authorization system.
• Implemented middle-tier billing system interface (C#, ASP.NET).
• Designed and led implementation of monitoring, error reporting, and trace infrastructure (javascript, ASP, ASP.NET).
• Our CRM solution was used by over 15,000 customer support representatives worldwide.

MSN Subscription Platform Group owned subscription management and the billing system for all of MSN and XBOX Live.
• Built Online-Statement and Account Management front-end for MSN billing (C#, ASP.NET).
• Built SOAP and form-based service interface layer for Charter billing system (C++, ISAPI).
• Built setup and deployment systems for hosting and billing (MSI, C++).
• Stress and performance engineer: planning, process development, and analysis (ACT).
• Our system is used by millions of MSN customers worldwide, including users of Hotmail and XBOX Live.
