A long weekend is what I needed!


And I feel so much better for it 😊

I took a few days off last week…

And it was the first time off since Christmas 🎄 

Which looking back is a rather long time!

I went for plenty of dog walks…

A lovely meal with friends…

And to our surprise, he asked my other half to be his best man at his wedding next year! 

It was so lovely!! 🥰 

Oh, can’t forget the cleaning… there was lots of cleaning as that’s how I distress 🤣

Story time! 📖 


I had a prospect reach out to me not too long ago…

And he needed help with a niche position 🦄

He had tried so many different things….

😩Specialist agency’s 
😩Adverts
😩Job post on LinkedIn 

But he came to realise that no applications were relevant to the job…

And the agency was just sending him CVs that didn’t fit the bill…

But the worst thing was…

This agency was trying to poach his team whilst working with him!

How wrong is that ❌

He was very much in a pickle…

But we listened to him…

And we put a plan in place to tackle his problem!

He purchased some time off us for a proactive outreach project…

And we filled the position!

This client is happy…

He’s had fun…

And the last thing he said to me on the phone was…

‘I won’t be using anyone else for my recruitment’

And that was the cherry on top! 🍒

Did everyone have a lovely valentines? 💘 


Mine was nice as it was my dads birthday too…

So spent some time with him ☺️

But for Valentines, I got a lovely card…

I massive box of my favourite chocolates…

And watching Dirty Dancing 💃 

For me… it was a perfect romantic weekend!

I had a good time though!

Started off with a golf simulator…

Which we switched to bowling 🎳 

Then to football…

Then to basketball 🏀 

And none of it was working for us!

We then went and played some crazy golf…

Which was the best part of the day!

Zero plans this weekend is what I needed…

As January seemed busier than most months 😂

2 important birthdays to celebrate 🥳 

Both before payday too 🤣

So to have nothing to do was great!

I took the dog on a long walk…

And got her nails cut…

I went out for tea on Saturday afternoon…

And even won a free main meal 🥘 

January was fab for me from a work perspective…

So I can’t wait to see what February brings…

Picture this... You're stood at the bar...

Ordering a nice cold beer🍺

But the Waitress/Waiter doesn't bring your drink over...

But you notice them taking other drinks to other tables...

When they turned up after you! 😠

You'd have to go and find out what's going on!

The Waitress/Waiter tells you that these people paid more for their drinks...

So this is why they received the faster service 😲

That's not right!

So why do so many people think this is ok with recruitment? ❌

So many companies miss out on great candidates...

Because there are other businesses that will pay a higher % placement fee...

Which means they'll get sent the CV's first so they can pick their favourite 🤩

That means that all of the business who can't pay as much...

Get put to the bottom of the queue...

And that does NOT sit right with me! 😡

If you provide a service...

EVERYONE should get the same service!

This is why we don't do % fee's 🚫

There's so much negativity around them now...

And we are a positive bunch 😁

That's why we have our time based model!
