Advised a central financial institution to further securitize its position in debt refinancing transactions. Advised an off-shore global bank in a complex debt restructuring transaction and in preparing its definitive documents.

Associate Trainee

Extensively researched Additional tier – 1 (AT-1) bonds and their mechanism under Basel - III norms. Assisted in drafting legal opinions and memorandums. In March 2020, a consortium led by the State Bank of India (SBI) injected Rs 10,000 crore into Yes Bank as part of a rescue effort. Concurrently, I represented a confidential client in attending High Court hearings aimed at acquiring a stake in Yes Bank.

Towards the conclusion of my internship, I was graciously offered a callback opportunity to join the firm. However, due to the unprecedented circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the firm had implemented a freeze on its hiring processes, resulting in the postponement of further recruitment activities.

Assisted in due diligence transactions. Assisted in drafting a memo on provisioning norms for Non-Banking and Finance Companies (NBFCs) with respect to security receipts against non-performing assets, under the relevant RBI Guidelines.

Nishith Desai Associates

Assisted in drafting inter-company service agreements for a tier - 1 OTT platform. Prepared key terms and conditions, terms of use, and disclaimer for an online trading platform dealing with Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). Worked on due diligence transaction tasks, advised with relation to international data residency laws in respect with cross-border transactions.

I was honored to receive the Best Knowledge Management Contribution Recognition for my article on blockchain technology.

HSA Advocates

Involved in preparing applications to initiate the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) with respect to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) on behalf of financial and operational creditors in respect of the unpaid operational and financial debt.

Following the successful completion of my internship, I was extended a pre-placement offer for the role of an Associate.

J. Sagar Associates

Assisted in drafting and vetting indenture of mortgage. Researched various compliance requirements including an extensive checklist in accordance with the regulatory and approval requirements in case of establishing a manufacturing plant and warehouse and assisted in carrying out due diligence tasks.


In the second week of the internship, I received a formal recommendation from a Senior Associate to engage in an assessment internship opportunity, which ultimately led to the extension of my internship tenure.

Veritas Legal, Advocates and Solicitors

Researched the procedure of incorporation of a company and requirements for a foreign national to be appointed as a director in an Indian company and sectoral caps under the Foreign Direct Investment policy (FDI) and had a chill time since it was my first law firm internship.


Towards the conclusion of my internship, I received a formal invitation for an extension from the Founding Partner to continue my internship for the subsequent month.
