Hey there! I've just finished a Bachelor of Media and Communications with Honours (major in Writing and Publishing) and now I'm studying for a PhD in rhetoric and writing. Why? I'm treading my own path towards an academic career where I travel regularly, meeting new people, learning their cultures and histories, and indulging in delicious food and speciality coffee. And in all that busyness, I'm also a writer who is never seen without a notebook, two pens, and a novel in my bag. How do I work? I'm a self-motivated, independent thinker who is highly organised and very capable of effectively managing competing deadlines. I have extensive experience leading teams for short and long term projects, including the 2021 Census, and I value the inclusion of diverse personalities and perspectives in my leadership and decision making. I'm passionate about friendly, knowledgeable customer service and I know I'm doing well when my customers and clients recommend me to their friends and family.
