2. Infrared Camouflage - A coating that make military assets invisible to infrared cameras and night vision goggles by scrambling their heat signatures.

Tested and verified by the Canadian Armed Forces, we’re not kidding when we say we’re working on a stealth project!

3. Specialty Coatings for Autonomous Vehicle Sensors - Self-driving cars are coming, but the sensors don't see very well when it comes to heavy rain, heavy snow, or even bug splatter and bird poop. Our coating combats this by enabling them to see better in these harsh but real situations.

A medical device that can detect the ultra-rare circulating cancer cells in blood streams way earlier than existing technologies so doctors can give the patient a much better chance at beating cancer. 

That’s the same odds of finding the next US president among all the kids in elementary school.

How did we do it? We used specially designed single strands of DNA (aptamers) that strongly attract cancer cells, and bind these aptamers onto a complex network of capillary channels (microfluidic device), so the DNA strands can act like tentacles that capture these rare floating cancer cells for further verification.

The work was published in PNAS with over 300 citations and was featured in Science Daily
