Mammas hud is a small family business. It's crazy the amount of impact she's had on so many.

My son needed medicine 4 times a day for 7 days. After the first dose almost made him puke and cry, I knew we had a problem.

The GP said to either hold him down and force it, or try mixing it with juice.

I wasn't going to traumatize him multiple times a day, so I went with the tasty medicine approach.

But when I came back with the same syringe and a similar-looking mixture, he wasn't having it. Even when I said it was tasty. He knew the nasty meds were in there.

So I tried raspberry sorbet. He wanted white ice cream instead.

I poured the failed attempt into a cup, added milk, mashed strawberries, and juice. Now we were onto something.

But with 4 doses a day and him rejecting it the next time around, I had to stay creative.

The next dose I cut up watermelon, squeezed out the water, and set a dozen micro-doses of medicine all over it. He was delighted and ate one of his favorite treats.

But watermelon couldn't be his whole diet, and I didn't always have sorbet on hand.

So I started stripping down the recipe. We got all the way down to a dash of milk and medicine on most days, with some extra treats added when he hesitated or we were running out of time.

This whole thing reminded me of a few critical truths in Go-To-Market:

1. Start with a proper diagnosis before you prescribe a solution
2. Your solution in its purest form is probably not palatable
3. Packaging, branding, and delivery mechanisms matter a lot
4. Even the perfect offer isn't perfect in every situation
5. You need to tailor your offer to the specific situation and preferences of your customer

Summed up in the words of Alf-Christian:
"Be curious, agile, and open to change".
