No body wakes up in the morning and says..."hey, I think I'd like to go buy some new engineering design, simulation and/or data management software" For me, the process is about standing with a customer, asking questions that illicit answers to shine a light on potential business issues they might have. Once identified, those issues need to be "rated" as far as severity, cost, and consequences. Once we have done that, it is time to see if I have a solutions or tools that can improve the situation and reclaim ROI. It all starts with a simple conversation. Usually about something you weren't aware was holding your business back. If we get to the end of the process and my solutions are NOT a good fit.... I promise I will go away and stop contacting you. 😎
