I originally joined the team to help with the extra processing work created by the opening of six new academies but in actuality I was given a variety of mini projects to do with reconciling credit cards and invoices in order to claim the money from the DCSF (department of children schools and families). The main reason for this was that I made it clear that I was capable of doing thorough and efficient work with minimal guidance and was able to use my imagination, experience and adaptability to tackle each task effectively.

I was part of a small team running the finance administration for a large international charity. I dealt with internal and external queries, international transfers, invoice processing, petty cash, expenses, banking and numerous other duties  I needed to be extremely flexible as we were a small team with a very high work volume so I often had to pick up new duties at short notice to cover for my team members - which also involved some management of the team, including recruitment. I also helped with the setup of our new invoice processing system, helping to implement changes and being largely responsible for training our UK staff in its use. As we were so busy I had to be constantly on the ball as I would regularly have to prioritise and re-prioritise when new situations and objectives arose. I also did some voluntary work for the marketing department.

I work with some of the biggest spending clients around, seeing a spend of $10-15 million every month across all the accounts I work on. 

I write, storyboard and produce ads, as well as acting as a creative director. I look for anything that can improve ad performance and create efficiency in the creative process. I also aim to grow my partner agencies by bringing them great clients, or connect the brands I work  with to a great agency if they want it.
