Six of my 15 deployments in the military were to the Arabian Gulf on various forms of Operation KIPION. 

For each of them I was deployed for at least six months (two were good old nine monthers) and I helped ensure the sea lines of communication remained open to all. 

This deployment has now rightly been recognised as an operational tour and those who deploy will receive the Wider Service Medal. 

There are many of us who campaigned for this to no avail when I was serving. I think the eligibility should be extended to all Service Personnel who deployed on Operations that are still being recognised. 

To that end I’ve started a petition. If we get 10,000 signatures we get a formal response from government. If we get 100,000 it will be put forward for debate in Parliament. 

Let’s make this happen! Please share on other social media platforms and on whichever comms apps you use.

I have noticed good looking people on LinkedIn get much more engagement from their posts than others.  Therefore I feel I should use my natural strengths to my advantage so people see this and buy IT Managed services from AIS Technology including everything from IT helpdesk to backups for only £24pcm per user.

A new client joined us from an IT provider triple our price.

"It really is terrible we pay 60% less for the same thing, and I really miss being told to pay extra every time I speak to IT" they said to me.

I guess 1st April is the only day of the year when these over priced IT providers can give their pricing with a straight face!

In 2009 Prince Charles (Now King) gave me and a few of my colleagues the freedom of the city of London during a march past at St Pauls Cathedral celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Fleet Air Arm.  

Apparently this means I can herd my sheep through the streets of the city at will.

I am yet to try this, but it could be a good advertising stunt for AIS Technology (however it ends)

It seems about once a week my partners EV car alarm goes off while charging.  Annoyingly her car only ever charges after midnight due to the lower rates meaning we routinely get woken up (along with the street and dogs) at 2 - 3am once a week.

Volkswagen seem to say the car is being disturbed and nothing is wrong, the CCTV shows no disturbance when it goes off.  The only pattern is the car is always charging when it happens (it has never happened during the day when there is no charging taking place)

Have any other EV owners found this?  Apparently you cannot even turn the alarm off...
