LaTerra is one of the most active residential and mixed use development companies in sun belt markets across the U.S.  

LaTerra and its general contractor affiliate, LT Building Corp., are developing and constructing mixed use projects, with more than 3,000 multifamily and build for rent units and over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial space. LaTerra has also expanded into self storage and industrial development. The estimated value of LaTerra’s current projects at completion exceeds $3 billion.

Chris is responsible for sourcing and closing new acquisitions, sourcing debt and equity for LaTerra's projects, and overseeing LaTerra's development team. 

In December 2021, LaTerra secured a $300M equity commitment from Macquarie for a self storage development venture. In May 2020, LaTerra secured a $250M equity commitment from a pension fund for a Los Angeles based development venture. 

In 2018, Chris was selected for Real Estate Forum’s 50 Under 40 list.

SnowGlobe Music Festival

Chris co-founded SnowGlobe Music Festival, which was ultimately acquired by MTV. SnowGlobe is a world-renowned annual music festival (featuring the largest musical acts in the world) drawing over 50,000 attendees over the three day event. Chris was responsible for raising the capital, and structuring and negotiating the investment documents prior to the inaugural 2011 festival.

PGIM is a global real estate private equity investment fund manager with $52 billion of gross assets under management. 

Most recently at PGIM, Chris held the position of Director, overseeing all development activity west of the Mississippi River with over 20 development deals at a total cost basis greater than $1 billion. In this capacity, Chris was responsible for negotiating Joint Venture documents for all new and existing partners, leading deals through closing, and overseeing the construction process. Prior to Chris’ role overseeing West Coast development, Chris spent 5 years on the West Coast acquisitions team. As an acquisitions Associate, Chris managed a team of analysts and worked on closing over $1 billion in acquisitions including spearheading the recapitalization of a $370 million, 9-asset data center portfolio with Digital Realty (the largest data center REIT in the world) and the purchase of three San Francisco high rise office buildings worth a total of approximately $600 million. Chris started at PREI as an Analyst, where he underwrote over $4 billion worth of deals across all property types (multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and hotels) and all layers of the capital stack (senior debt, subordinate debt, preferred equity and equity).
