Hello! I’m a London-based, 2x exited founder and after taking some time out in 2022 with my young family, I am now enjoying helping a small number of exciting B2B SaaS startups in an advisory capacity, whilst planning ahead for my next startup move. I was previously CEO and co-founder of Akkroo, a B2B SaaS company in the event marketing tech space, which we built from a startup idea in 2013 to a $34M acquisition by US-based, MarTech company Integrate in 2019. After 3 years as part of the Executive Leadership Team at Integrate and as the business tripled revenue over that time, Audax Private Equity subsequently acquired a majority stake in December 2021 and I moved on at the start of 2022. Akkroo was borne out of an idea within my first startup, RMP Enterprise, where I was co-founder & joint Managing Director. We initially launched RateMyPlacement.co.uk as students out of Loughborough University in 2007, expanding to a suite of products in the early careers space under the RMP brand and the business is today a well established market leader. We spun Akkroo out of RMP in 2013, at which point I stepped out of day-to-day involvement as Akkroo took off. In December 2022, the RMP Leadership Team completed a very successful Management Buy Out of early shareholders and investors; I now continue as a minority shareholder and advisor to the Board. I have a passion for SaaS startups, particularly around commercial and go-to-market strategy, as well as building a great team and culture. Alongside my advisory work, I have also made a number of angel investments in both B2B SaaS businesses and climate-tech/sustainability startups, an area I continue to explore and am increasingly passionate about.
