I help B2B companies build revenue-generating content campaigns by focusing on telling stories that reinforce brand messaging - who we are, what we believe, and how we differentiate - that resonates with target audiences resulting in social engagement, web traffic, and sales leads. I do this by taking a comprehensive view of brand guidelines, marketing goals, and growth plans and creating copy, video, and digital assets that tell a cohesive and compelling story across all brand channels It seems like I’ve spent my whole career learning as I go. As a fresh-faced kid out of high school, I joined the Marine Corps and got a crash course in leadership, responsibility, and honor. But, most importantly, I learned that collaboration – working together towards a common goal – is the secret to big wins. While working in an IT support role at a television station, I became curious about how to help the commercial production team, so I learned how to write, shoot, and edit TV commercials. By becoming skilled with Adobe After Effects, I raised the quality of motion graphics to an all-new level. In searching for my next challenge, I joined the state public broadcasting network, began producing educational and informational television shows, and fell in love with storytelling. Partnering with the video, audio, and art department, I told impactful stories and created award-winning television shows. My next opportunity came when I moved to corporate communications. I worked across teams and functionalities to tell stories internally and externally that resonated with audiences. In addition, I learned to manage our relationship with agencies and production companies to get the most out of our budget. As a content marketing and social media manager, I’ve learned to collaborate with the most important person in business – the customer.
