Notimo

Notimo was born from a pivot of Traction Gather, with many years of remote work, and thousands of hours on Zoom calls, we wanted to make meetings better by reducing the cognitive overload of taking traditional notes and making organizations transparent and equitable to allow teams to collaborate across time zones and other work from home responsibilities.

My role as a co-founder was to start by examining the business plan and PMF of our initial idea. Then it was getting to work by:

- Choosing the framework and writing the first lines of code to prototype our idea.
- Hiring our team (Development, UX, QA)
- Implementing an SSDLC informed by best practices, my experience and input from the team.
- Managing our team to be highly agile, keeping quality in mind, with the ability to deploy to prod multiple times a day if necessary. 
- Business planning, budgeting, quarterly OKRs.
- Pitching to VCs for a Seed Round.


Notimo is a product team within the venture studio Uncommon Purpose, where I am the Director of Engineering.

I continue to work on Traction Gather as a founder. Traction Gather is part of the venture studio Uncommon Purpose.

- 28 paying customers within Recreation Centers, Higher Education and private business.
- $450,000 ARR
- Prototype to MVP and paying customer in under 3 months. 
- Approval to Salesforce Marketplace in 6 months.

Traction Gather was sold to Traction Rec.

During the pandemic, I began to incubate a new product within Traction Rec by assembling a small "ninja team" to build and launch Traction Gather quickly.

At the same time, I was responsible for scaling our development team and preparing for a round of Series A funding and growth by mentoring new team leads and senior developers.

Traction Rec has become one of the most complex enterprise products offered on the Salesforce Platform. I've had the opportunity since nearly the beginning to work with an amazing team that has grown from a small group of developers and business analysts building a greenfield application off the sides of our desks into an agile machine that operates efficiently through smart architectural decisions and well-defined process.

As part of building a new product, I've developed components from the ground up, collaborated in building our framework, gathered requirements, built solutions, defined internal business processes and managed a group of brilliant developers in multiple locations.

I am most proud to have contributed to the growth of not only a complex and interesting product but of a team that has complete ownership of the work we have done together.

- Managed a team of 12 developers across multiple time zones.
- Implemented development management best practices, improving estimation, quality and efficiency.
- Enable a transparent and flat structure where every team member contributes through ownership and growth.

* Developing a real time, multi-threaded financial trade analysis application using Microsoft Azure Service Fabric and C#.net.

* Leading the team in building better disaster recovery architecture leveraging Microsoft Azure.

* Improved data archival and logging for financial compliance by learning and adopting Big Data technologies. (HDInsight, Hive).

* Currently developing real time compliance monitoring software. Combining C#.net, FIX Protocol (TCP/IP), Microsoft SQL, Recursive Algorithms and Web development to create a robust and user friendly alert and monitoring system.

* Leading the transfer of FIX Protocol (TCP/IP) development in house.

* Created a suite of internal compliance SQL reports to monitor daily trade activity, improving rapport with market auditors.
