As CEO of ARC Medical Inc. : I drive the decisions & actions and culture to commercialize and provide to surgical patients our novel, liquid medical devices to prevent surgical adhesions. When successful, we will: i. Improve patients’ recovery after surgery; ii. Reduce the need for expensive emergency surgeries to fix adhesions, thus improving patients’ health and reducing healthcare system costs; and iii. Provide a positive return for our investors. 2. As a trusted family member, friend and colleague : I research and share with others on a personal level the actions which result in us leading and living healthier lives with more energy – spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically – resulting in an increased healthspan. Even though I have been fortunate as a CEO to become a seasoned clinical stage healthcare company leader with over 25 years of experience in the development and commercialization of medical devices, drugs and combination products, including the approved Taxus® Stent with previous sales of greater than USD 1 billion annually; built corporate, scientific, and clinical leadership teams; raised greater than USD 30 million; in-licensed and out-licensed assets; and have over 10 granted patents… …and even though I have also been lucky enough to be the husband of an amazing wife, Cynthia, and the father of incredible children… …I feel that I am on steep learning curves for all of the above, which is part of the fun!
