•	Strengthened the expert team through increased training, increasing experts by 20.1% across the area over two years. 
•	Delivered a 10% growth in commercial sales over the FY 22/23
•	Successfully supported the introduction and evolution of online trading, strengthening click-and-collect services, delivering nation leading results. 
•	Reduced absenteeism by 10% and lowered team member injuries by 30% through an enhanced safety culture.

Regional Area Manager

A transformational role within the Bunnings business in an Employee Experience focused team referred to as 'Walk the Talk'. This team was developed to ensure the protection and evolution of the iconic Bunnings culture, through times of unprecedented growth.

Key Achievements:				 

•	Personally entrusted to re-author an iconic document with Bunnings, known as ‘The Way We Do Things Around Here’. Created a streamlined, and modernised document without allowing it to lose its substance and/or historical relevance.

•	Supported the launch of the new version of TWWDTAH by presenting it to each state group across the country

•	Conducted comprehensive listening posts, engaging over 200 leaders across four states (WA, SA, NT, TAS), providing valuable insights and fostering a culture of open communication. 

•	Developed business-wide recruitment and retention strategies, resulting in a more streamlined and effective talent acquisition process for both team and leaders.

•	Presented at the National Conference, speaking on the importance of protecting and developing our Culture in uncertain times.

•	Supported the innovation and creation of a new induction process to uplift the engagement of 20,000 team members through COVID, and in-turn facilitated the rollout of this program to 4,000 team across SA, NT, TAS.

•	Developed a key component of team member length of service recognition, with the introduction of personlised reward.

Employee Experience Manager - 'Walk the Talk' 

Key Achievements:				 
•	Led teams in stores ranging from 110 to 250 members, overseeing turnovers between $38 million to $94 million per site.
•	Develop and execute localised sales and service strategies for continued growth. 
•	Successfully opened new stores, leading a comprehensive 5-week fit-out process, hiring a new team and developing a community presence.
•	Navigated challenges posed by the global pandemic, driving the Parafield store to the top position in the country, supporting community involvement, and engaging with authorities for compliance. 
•	Manage stores with 24-hour schedules to ensure efficient stock flow. 
•	Achieved the highest Team Engagement scores in the region
•	Delivered leading IPR results annually in each store
•	Establish sustainable community involvement plans, including donations, BBQs, instore engagement, and community events. 
•	Manage inventories ranging from $6m to $10m at any one time 
•	Implemented loss prevention strategies. 
•	Facilitate inductions for new teams across South Australia and mentor future leaders in the ‘Future Leader program’. 
•	Organise and deliver State-wide Department Meetings to foster a culture of unity and importance of values within the organization.
