I’m seeing something online at the minute that genuinely blows my mind…

People blindly using ChatGPT without any really effort, thinking it’s going to save them (Other AI tools apply).

Content, courses, presentations, PDFs.

Zero thought. Zero original insight. Just a simple prompt, copy, paste and off we go.

Some are then even selling these so called masterpieces.

With a straight face.

As if they’re sharing wisdom they’ve earned.

I’ve saw someone last month ger ChatGPT to write a LinkedIn outreach script, copy it word for word, and then claim the messages have made their clients millions.

Millions.

From a prompt they didn’t even edit.

What an absolute joke.

AI is brilliant.

It’s fast, it’s useful, it saves you hours , but it cannot give you expertise you don’t have.

It cannot give you experience you’ve never lived.

It cannot replace the thinking you refuse to do.

The lazy use of AI is creating a wave of generic nonsense.

Posts that sound the same.

Courses that teach nothing.

Presentations that have no depth.

Coaches teaching “frameworks” they’ve never actually used.

I know lots are strapped for time, but here’s the harsh reality.

AI won’t make you an expert. Of course, it’s a great way to learn, but using it in this way?

Well, eventually you’ll get either caught out or completely left behind.

If you don’t understand your craft, the tool won’t save you.

If you do understand it, the tool will amplify you.

Use AI to speed up your thinking.

Not to avoid thinking.

The people who rely on it blindly are the ones who get found out quickest.

I share not to call people out, but to help wake a few people up. Don’t let your standards drop.

Use the tool, but please, think about it.

Met with Nicholas J. yesterday and spent the day deep inside the new platform.

We launched the community.

We mapped the system.

We built out the foundation that every founder/marketer/sales person will use to grow without feeling overwhelmed.

This is the part that gets me genuinely excited.

For years I’ve watched brilliant businesses stall because they don’t know what to do next.

Too many options.

Too much noise.

Too many people telling them 50 different “right” ways to grow.

So we’re fixing that.

Daily lists.

Daily actions.

Daily progress.

No more guessing.

No more wondering if you’re doing the right thing.

Just one clear process they can follow every single day.

This next chapter feels big.

1,000s of messages sent, and look, I know receiving a follow up can be annoying, but there are responses that really do leave a mark.

This is one my favourites from the weekend.

Obviously said person blocked me which is 100% fine with me, but what’s one thing I will never do?

I’ll never respond to someone trying to help me in this way, even if it could be positioned as a “pitch”.

Hopefully this gives you a giggle like it did me.

Anyone else see the irony of the “right honourable” like I did in brackets?

People/Mentors/Coaches- PLEASE stop giving advice you have never lived or done!!!!

I heard something this morning that didn’t just make me cringe, but it triggered me.

Someone who’s worked in their industry for years.
 Someone who already has credibility, contacts and momentum.
 Someone who has already seen success.

Gave advice to someone who is very much at the beginning.
 Little audience. A small track record so far. Experience that needs to be earned. 
So what did they tell them?
 The exact same nonsense a well-known influencer shouts about online and building a business in their industry.
 Lead magnets. Cold DMs. Funnels. Build your brand.

Here’s the problem. 
That is not how they succeeded. 
Not even close.

They succeeded because they already had networks. 
They succeeded because they had industry knowledge. 
They succeeded because they’d spent a few years building relationships offline.

They didn’t grow using the tactics they’re now repeating.
 They grew because of foundations the person they were advising doesn’t have yet.

This is the dangerous part of the online world.
 People regurgitate advice without considering whether it’s true, whether it works, or whether it even applies to the person in front of them.

It’s lazy. It’s misleading. It’s why so many good people waste months trying strategies that were never suited to their starting point.

People giving advice need to wake up. Stop repeating influencer noise. Stop parroting frameworks they’ve never lived. 
Stop pretending everyone has the same starting line you had.

The real help comes from telling the truth. 
Tell people what actually worked for you. Tell them what stage of business you were at. Tell them what gave you the early wins. 
Tell them the boring stuff you did before you ever touched a funnel.

That will be more helpful than any advice you’d copy from the latest YouTube video you’ve watched.
 If you want to help people grow, start by telling them what you really did. 
Not what sounds good online.

I hate seeing good people repeat things that were never going to work in the first place.

I see this every single day.

Smart, capable business owners setting something up, repeating it endlessly, and having absolutely no idea whether it’s working or not.

That’s the ridiculous part.

They’re working away at a process they can’t even measure.

No metrics. Little to no analysis. 

A lot of the time it’s just blind hope.

People are sending the same copy-and-paste messages.

Posting the same predictable content.

Following tactics that would fall apart instantly if they tried them offline.

Here’s the truth everyone avoids.

If your approach would embarrass you in a real room, it will fail on LinkedIn too.

Imagine walking up to someone at an event, giving them a pitch before saying hello, then wandering off to repeat it 200 more times.

Let’s face it, you wouldn’t.

Yet online, people call that “lead generation.”

The part that genuinely frustrates me is this.

People are spending serious money on strategies that have zero grounding in logic, psychology or communication.

Nothing gets tracked.

Nothing gets tested.

They don’t know how to tell if it’s working, when to adjust it, or when to stop altogether.

So they just keep going.

Repeating.

Hoping.

Burning time they’ll never get back.

Effort is not the problem.

The method is.

Here’s the reality.

If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it.

If you’re repeating without reviewing, it’s not commitment. It’s noise.

If the strategy only exists online and would fail in person, it’s already dead.

Do less of the things that were never built to work.

Do more of the things that genuinely move people forward.

Let’s wake a few people up.

Everyone talks about “scaling,” “authority,” and “mass visibility.”

But no one talks about the boring basics that actually move the needle.
Here’s the truth:

If you fix just three simple things on LinkedIn, you’ll get more responses, more leads, and more sales conversations than 99% of people posting daily.

1. A profile that makes sense in 3 seconds

People shouldn’t have to scroll to understand what you sell. If they do, they won’t.

2. A clear invitation to talk

Most profiles hint at what someone does…but never actually tell you what the next step is.

3. A content strategy that doesn't look like a therapy diary

People overshare, entertain, and storytell, but forget the commercial point. You can be relatable, but you still have to lead people somewhere.

These 3 basics: Positioning, pathways, and purpose create the multiplier effect everyone is chasing.

They’re also the exact gaps that cause people to post for months and get nothing back.

😊 a little tough love: stop half-assing your social media and start seeing real results

Let’s talk about something that might not be fun to hear, but will make a huge difference once you do.

A lot of people dip their toes into social media, posting a little here and there, sending a few quick DMs, and hoping for the best. Then they get disappointed when nothing really happens.

Here’s the positive twist: it’s not just about doing the work, it’s about doing the right work with the right process in place.

The people who see real results are the ones who put in the same kind of care and attention they’d give to building any real relationship.

It’s like the gym: if you put in a bit more focus, a bit more consistency, and have a solid plan, you’ll see results that actually stick.

Think about it this way: the relationships you built through referrals or word of mouth took genuine effort and authenticity.

If you bring that same energy to your social media presence, and follow a process that makes sense, you’ll start to see the difference.

So here’s the real encouragement: if you truly want it to work, put in that little bit of extra heart and follow a real process.

Show up like you mean it, treat people like real humans, and put in a bit of thought before you hit send.

In the words of Maverick: “Don’t think. Just do. Then think. Then do again.” Maybe think a tiny bit before that first “do,” but you get the idea!

Once you start doing the right work with the right process, you’ll see everything start to move in the right direction. It’s all about doing it right.

Budget day, just another day that pushes me to debate whether the UK is the place to be or not.

I know more and more are considering fleeing before the government make it even harder to leave.

From £1k a month to £10k a month in under a year… here’s what actually made it happen

I’ve watched this transformation more than 100 times now.

You only need to check my profile for the people sharing what they’ve achieved.

Someone comes in making roughly £1k a month.

They’re good at what they do, but nothing is consistent and everything feels uphill.

Fast forward 6 to 12 months and they’re at £8k, £10k, sometimes £12k a month.

Same skill set.

Completely different outcomes.

People always assume it came from a clever trick or some new tactic.

It didn’t.

The shift happened because they set up a simple process, stuck with it and improved it every month.

They didn’t rebuild their funnel every other week.

They didn’t rewrite their offer every time they had a quiet patch.

They didn’t sprint in a new direction whenever they saw someone else having success.

They built the core pieces once.

They refined them with data.

They kept improving what was already working.

Small adjustments.

Clear targets.

Steady progress.

Most business owners never reach this stage because they restart too soon.

They give up on a process that hasn’t even had time to settle.

They confuse “new” with “better” and lose months chasing ideas instead of improving execution.

This is how people go from £1k months to £10k months to £25k per months and beyond.

Not luck.

Not hacks.

Not constant reinvention.

Just a simple process, done properly, reviewed regularly and improved with intention.
