I served as in-house counsel for the Americas team of an international company. I negotiated, drafted, and revised various client, vendor, and internal contracts daily which included licensing, intellectual property, Saas, and general commercial and corporate terms. I explained complex legal issues and advised multiple internal team members, management, and company executives to further the goals of the company. I assisted various internal departments, including finance, HR, products, and IT, with creating new policies/procedures and streamlining existing policies/procedures to ensure efficiency and to accelerate value-added strategic company objectives. I was the Americas data privacy and security point of contact working closely with the global data privacy and security director to strategize and implement various procedures to ensure compliance with state, federal and international privacy laws.

I advised individuals and businesses on a broad variety of transactional and litigation based matters. I handled pre-litigation and litigation matters involving Real Property, Employment, Landlord/Tenant, Construction, Corporate, and Consumer Protection. As lead attorney on most of my cases, I strategized matters from start to finish and counseled my clients on each step. I successfully brought most of my cases to settlement and successfully argued various motions and hearings. My transactional work included reviewing, researching and drafting Construction Contracts (for both General Contractors and Subcontractors), Employment Contracts (with non-competes, non-solicitations, intellectual property rights, and severance agreements).
