My Role:
- Responsible for overall leave disability case management/return to work administration for ill and injured employees related to complex leave and workplace accommodations, under FMLA, CFRA, CA PDL, ADA/ADAAA, FEHA and WC including COVID-19 requests
- Facilitate and engage in the interactive process with the employee, employee’s supervisor and other appropriate parties, including HRBP’s, to ensure all opportunities for workplace accommodations have been thoroughly explored
- Provide ongoing consultation, coaching, and problem-solving assistance to the employee, department management and HRBP’s for workplace accommodations, complex leaves and the return-to-work process 
 - Deliver monthly leave of absence and accommodation training and educate employees, HRBP’s and managers on appropriate leave types, entitlements, and available benefits

- Educate and provide support to managers and employees on appropriate leave types, entitlements, and available benefits
 - Support, process, document and engage in the interactive process for Leave and Disability accommodation requests, including cases that are open for over six months, modified duty cases, temporary restrictions and other cases as assigned

Oversee Leave of Absence function for a global population of 9,000 across U.S. and Canada, with full-cycle ownership including employee communication, eligibility decision, consulting with legal for high-risk leave cases, tracking and closure

- Manage every touch point from employee request to tracking and closing of LOA’S
- Partner with HR and legal on complex leave of absence requests and accommodations. Develop documentation and maintain files of approvals and rejections within established federal, state and 
organizational guidelines
- Design informational handouts, guides and spreadsheets for employees and managers to 
more easily navigate the LOA process
- Educate employees, supervisors and business leaders on the appropriate leave types
entitlements and available benefits
 - Analyze leave of absence data to identify trends, concerns and solutions, and recommend 
action plans

My Role:
- Administer operational aspects of employee benefits programs which include but may not be 
limited to 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, STD, LTD, life insurance, AD&D, and voluntary insurance plans.
- Research and respond to employee benefit questions and claims issues by phone and email.
- Provide support to HR and legal counsel to maintain compliance with inbound immigration cases.
- Assist with the implementation of new Benefits, Payroll, and HRIS platforms.
- Responsible for timely processing of department invoices and funding for benefit programs.

My Role:
Served as Human Resources contact for 700 employees and two HRBPs in a shared services environment.

- Provided Human Resources support in the areas of Benefits Administration, lifecycle management for Leaves of Absences, New Hire and Separation	administration and tuition reimbursement oversight. 
 - Managed full-cycle recruitment and on-boarding for all temporary staff, which spanned multiple skillsets and included 40 placements year-round. 
- Provided new hire training to all new hires, including benefits overview and cultural integration.
- Partnered with site HRBP to complete the annual performance review process, talent management and compensation planning process.

- Managed all leaves of absences and accommodations with an average caseload of 230, ensured federal and state compliance and coordination with company policies.

- Analyzed and identified trends at the business unit level and determined how to proactively address department needs.
- Managed Workers' Compensation, Disability and Federal/State Leave Vendors to ensure compliance, best practices and timely coordination of associate return to work, effectively reducing overhead costs to department and company.
