A former Royal Air Force fighter pilot and Group Captain, Christian deployed on 6 military interventions, flew 4000 operational hours day and night, and operated on the frontline from land and at sea. Leading the UK’s Aggressor Squadron, he was qualified to instruct and standardise across flying, tactics and weapons in the RAF and resultantly, has a deep background in live, synthetic and augmented training solutions. He served for 2 years in the Pentagon, holding the position of UK Strategic Advisor to the Chief of the United States Air Force, was a member of the RAF Aerobatic Team, The Red Arrows and led a unique 29 aircraft ‘E II R’ formation over the Queen in 2013. Following his military service, Christian served as an Executive Director and Board Member for Meta Aerospace, providing special mission aerospace services to governments, and is now a consultant to aerospace companies. He speaks widely about ‘Leading on the Frontline’, applying life-or-death leadership lessons to help individuals and businesses thrive in adversity and through crisis. He holds a Masters in Defence and Strategy from Kings College London, and an Executive Masters in Business Adminstraton from Cambridge University.
