Iedere organisatie heeft vandaag nood aan een business analyst. Maar wat doet een business analyst nu precies? En welke vaardigheden heeft u nodig om er één te worden?

Een business analyst vertaalt de bedrijfsbehoeftes qua besluitvorming naar bruikbare oplossingen. Vaak gaat het om technologische oplossingen. Een business analyst moet dus voldoende achtergrondkennis (dataskills) hebben om zowel zakelijke als IT-stakeholders te begrijpen. Een business analyst situeert zich perfect tussen de business user en de echte IT-er. Hij/zij kan eerder gezien worden als tolk tussen de besluitnemer en ondersteuners. Terwijl de business analyst bepaalt wat er moet veranderen in het bedrijfsproces, zal de IT-er zorgen voor de technische uitwerking. 

De business analyst wordt wel eens omschreven als een analytisch octopus en een communicatieve superheld.

Het postgraduaat Digital business analyst leert u de belangrijkste skills om als gerespecteerd business analyst praktisch aan de slag te gaan. 

Het programma bestaat voor de helft uit theoretische onderbouw en de helft uit praktijkoefeningen.
