Head to howdietitianswork.com to sign up. MY BACKGROUND My roots are in the kitchen (and the classroom). I learned to cook and bake from my grandmother and great aunt. The time spent in their kitchens sparked my love for bringing people together around the table. I've held many jobs in the food industry including professional baker and chef instructor. My first job, where I really learned to hustle in the kitchen, was at an iconic New England fried seafood spot. When I went to college and subsequently graduate school, I fell in love with psychology. It was not until I went to see a dietitian that I learned that it was a job. This came at exactly the right time because I was realizing that an academic career was not for me. I went back to school to become a registered dietitian. After completing the rigorous Morrison Healthcare Dietetic Internship program, I oversaw the healthy dining program at a Fortune 500 healthcare company where I inspired plant-forward eating in thousands of people through cooking classes, wellness program development and social media content creation. In early 2022, I launched my private practice, Gozzi Nutrition, and embarked on the rewarding work of building a business led by my own creative vision and expertise.
