At Liquinvex, a mobile-app making wine investing easy for everyone, I quickly gathered a skilled team and we focused on planning and executing a tech-product roadmap. 

Achievements:

- Got the first app version out the door.

At Talentware, we're creating a talent management platform designed to help businesses effectively engage, develop, and retain talent through a skill-based approach

Achievements:

- Led product development, blending technology with user needs.
- Assembled a robust team, ensuring agility and innovation.
- Formulated a strategic product and technical roadmap, targeting short-to-medium-term goals.

In just three months, we've already got customers signing up and managed to bag $800K in pre-seed funds.

Wedelay

At Wedelay, a startup revolutionizing how people manage utility bills.
Collaborating with the team, we developed a seamless platform that allows users to split their utility payments into manageable installments, offering financial flexibility without hidden fees.

Achievements:

- Guided the MVP development, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
- Streamlined the recruitment process to build a foundational team.
- Crafted and implemented a clear technical roadmap, focusing on user needs and operational efficiency.

These efforts contributed significantly to Wedelay's ability to offer a unique service and the onboarding of Wedelay's first customer, marking a significant step forward for the startup!

Lexroom.ai

At Lexroom AI, a startup that uses AI to simplify legal tasks,I stepped in to guide the initial product development. Working with the CTO, we developed an effective tech strategy and quickly built the initial team, focusing on crucial skills.

Achievements:

- Led the development of the MVP, preparing for future growth.
- Created a straightforward tech plan, targeting essential features.
- Assembled a talented team quickly, setting the stage for rapid progress.

These actions led to regular updates and significant early achievements, including a successful €500k pre-seed funding round in January 2024.

Converting promising business ideas to sustainable products, making tech decisions (architecture, tech stack, etc...) to build new services and ventures in finleap’s ecosystem, managing and contributing to the build phase of the service/product.
Creating the right tech team for each new venture hunting and interviewing candidates.
Responsible for the long-term health of all products in this area and representing this business unit domain to the rest of the organisation.
Setting up teams for success and autonomy, attract, retain and grow high-performing individuals and teams.
Managing cross-project priorities and ensuring we have the right skills for each.

Achievements:
- Brought to Italy SwitchKit, a product enabling approx 200k payment account switches every year
- Coordinated the setup, hired the development team, and contributed to the development and design of the architecture of SwitchKit.
- Led and contributed to the internal R&D department to create new products for the Italian Market.

Engineering Manager

finleap

Design sprints and prototype development to create new ventures.
Making tech decisions (architecture, tech stack, etc...) to build new ventures in finleap’s ecosystem, managing and contributing to the build phase of the venture. 
Creating the right tech team for each new venture hunting and interviewing candidates.

Achievements:
- Coordinated the setup, hired the development team, contributed to the development and design of the architecture of the MVP and oversaw the growth of LendBox, a Startup born to revolutionise the salary-backed loans Market and generating over 1M€ during its first year live, keeping a positive turnover growth and sustainable cash flow during Covid-19 Crisis in 2020

Principal Engineer

Developing and designing the client-side of Fintech's ventures of finleap using web technologies (React.js, Redux, redux-saga).
Designing the software architecture to make the application more modular and composable as possible.

Achievements:
- Lead and hired the front-end development team of Infinitec Solutions.
- Took part in the setup of Beesy, a finleap Venture focused on SME Banking, later merged into Penta during its acquisition process

Lead Front end Developer

iGenius ICT

Developing and designing the client side of the stable release of crystal.io, using the newest web technologies environment (React.js, Redux, redux-saga).
Moving from the MVP to the first startup phase leading with agile methodologies, with both task management and technical leadership.

Achievements:
- Leading and shipping successfully crystal.io from MVP to production.
- Hire the development team from 7 to 20 developers.

Developing and designing the main software to crawl and deliver real-time data to users using Javascript and Google Cloud services.
Creating REST APIs with Node.js and Express.js and handling the microservices infrastructure and creating the first beta client version of the web application using Angular.js

Achievements:
- Leading and shipping successfully crystal.io MVP in 5 months
- Hire the development team from 7 to 20 developers.

I'm the guy who went from gaming on dad's computer to building startups 👷

No fancy degree here – just a lot of love for build and a knack for making things work. 

In my 20s, I started my journey into the software development world and since then, I've been on a mission to help people turn their big ideas into big deals.

With a decade of experience in the startup ecosystem and my involvement in more than 10 startups, I've gained profound insights on how to avoid expensive mistakes 💸.

Ma non è stata una pausa voluta. 
Quindi niente storie del tipo “ho preso una pausa per riflettere”, “non sei tu, sono io” o cavolate simili. 

La verità è che ho passato l’ultimo mese senza ispirazione, senza sapere cosa scrivere/condividere 😞

Mi sono sentito svuotato. 
Ci ho provato a scrivere qualcosa ma sembravano tutte robette.

Essere presenti, scrivere qualcosa di interessante e condividere spesso, è tosta raga.

MA… C’E UN MA…

In questo periodo mi sono concentrato su altro 
(no non è l’orto 🧑‍🌾)

Se il processo creativo non si può spingere (forse sì con qualche aiutino 🌿 ma non è questo il caso), possiamo lavorare sul sistematizzare il processo per semplificare tutto il resto.

Mi sono quindi concentrato sul creare un sistema che mi aiuterà a produrre più contenuti.

Il mio processo è questo:

💭 Ideazione (senza AI):
Qualsiasi idea mi passasse per la testa la scrivo su Notion. Cerco di contaminarmi il più possibile con video, articoli, dati, pensieri, domande, tutto.
Mi chiedo “sarebbe interessante leggere di questa cosa?” se la risposta è sì, allora è un buon inizio.

📚Ricerca:
Cerco di capire se le idee possono maturare in un contenuto, qualcosa che sia davvero interessante per qualcuno, non solo per me. Aggiungo informazioni e espando il contenuto per renderlo più completo.

🖋️ Scrittura
Come tanti scrivo N versioni del post fino ad avere quella che mi convince di più.
Qui controllo il formato, il tono di voce, l’originalità (ci metto del mio, altrimenti che senso ha?), il Gunning Fog Index e l’anteprima di visualizzazione del post sui diversi dispositivi.

♻️Ripubblicazione 
Categorizzo i post per il famoso “repurposing” cioè capire quali dei post che pubblico possono essere ripubblicati nel futuro (magari quando sono a corto di idee)

Bene. Forse sulla carta sembra tutto facile, finché se ne parla del resto tutto lo è. 

Ma metterlo in pratica? Quello è un’altra roba. 

Ci vuole concentrazione, ispirazione, volontà di portare valore e non solo scrivere contenuti “tanto per” (così mi pulisco la coscienza). 

Ci vuole un sistema.

Quando iniziare ad assumere internamente? 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

È una delle domande che ricevo più spesso. 

Indovina? 

Non c’è una risposta giusta. 
Non c’è una formula magica (purtroppo)

Però un consiglio cerco di darlo sempre 👇

Cerca il più possibile di assumere quando l’inserimento è direttamente proporzionale ad un aumento di revenues.

E tu dirai, grazie al 🥒

Ma ti assicuro che non è così scontato!

Ho visto tante realtà che assumono per urgenza e si ritrovano ad un certo punto delle persone senza attività alla fine del picco di lavoro 🤦‍♂️

Quindi chiediti sempre: Se assumessi questa persona quanto più velocemente potrei eseguire i progetti in corso o sfruttare nuove opportunità di mercato?

Ricordati che assumere dovrebbe essere visto come un investimento strategico per la tua startup, non solo un costo aggiuntivo! 

(o peggio ancora una metrica di crescita)

Sono affascinato dalla Creator Economy e di come questa sia uno nuovo modo di creare aziende di successo 📈

Parlo di persone comuni che condividono le loro passioni, creano una community e riescono a crearci “sopra” un business (a volte milionario).

Perché questo approccio funziona? 🤔 

Perché ci sono cascato anch’io (in senso buono eh, non che io poi sia un esempio, ma qua vi sto dicendo la mia). 

Ti porto un esempio che mi è accaduto poco fa. 

Conosci il car detailing? 🚗🚿

Io non lo conoscevo (e sono abbastanza fissato con il lavaggio dell’auto, eh).

L’ho scoperto su Instagram e ho pensato: “cavolo anche io voglio farmi lavare così la macchina” ✨

Tutto preso bene, sono andato a cercare quanto costasse questo servizio → 150 euro.

Tanti vero? Sì, se non avessi visto il video 📹

Grazie al contenuto son riuscito a giustificarne il prezzo!

Il creator è riuscito a farmi scoprire un nuovo business e nello stesso momento è riuscito a trasmettermi il valore del suo lavoro (e quindi riuscire a prezzarlo adeguatamente).

Effetto? Ora tutti conoscono il car detailing e lo pagano fior fior di quattrini 🤑
