Reporting to the CIO on the steering committee, my main responsibilities are to design and implement the AI strategy in our company, focusing on the research and development of innovative solutions, identifying opportunities, collaborating with business areas in project management, and ensuring that Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial fully leverages emerging AI technologies to enhance our competitiveness and efficiency.

Reporting to the Global Director of Digital Strategy and Business Development, I generate online sales on our main consumer website Penguinlibros, provide audience insights to optimize the company´s direct-to-consumer communication and I develop projects to reach new audiences.

My team´s responsibilities involve our online consumer panel, our CRM, qualitative and quantitative research on Spanish-speaking consumers in general and book buyers and readers in particular, and new audience verticals such as our community of reviewers Edición Anticipada and our social network for writers Megustaescribir, as well as our educational division Penguin Aula.

I was in charge of our corporate online marketing strategy for Spain and Latin America, with a strong focus on marketing analytics and consumer insights. In close cooperation with the IT department, I developed strategic tools that allowed our imprints to run data-driven, consumer-oriented marketing campaigns in Spain, Latin America and the USA. 

During the 5 years I worked in this position ta build a strong online presence for my company, featuring more than 50 webs for imprints, books and authors, our own social network with more than 1000 literary blogs, and close to 800.000 followers on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.  I also developed an associate program with literary bloggers with more than 1000 collaborators.

As a social media strategist I developped Random House Mondadori´s social networks, which, by the time I was promoted to head of digital marketing, featured more than 250.000 likes in Facebook and more than 140.000 followers in Twitter, plus channels on YouTube, Pinterest and our own social network megustaescribir.com.
