• Credited for identifying the solution used for Walmart's first enterprise SSL Certificate management product, which reduced the risk of lost profit from outages due to expired web certificates.
• Implemented “Risk Based Authentication” for WalmartOne, Global Benefits website for 1.5M Employees


Walmart Vendor Partner (RSA Security Advisor / EMC) - 6/2006 - 4/2011:
• RSA Onsite Security Advisor, responsible for the support and technical oversight of RSA’s Product implementations at Walmart (MFA, DLP, Encryption, PKI, Web Access Management, SAML 2.0 for federating websites) 
 • Served as Walmart’s ambassador and gained inclusion for over 40 different RSA security product enhancements 
• Effectively drove escalation efforts with the RSA SecurID Product Team to correct authentication replication issues encountered when deploying SecurID internationally to meet PCI compliance
• Delivered RFP for Walmart’s Brocade SAN/RSA Key Manager Solution to encrypt SAN PCI data at rest.

Christina has served as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) four times, gaining extensive experience in developing effective strategies to address enterprise cyber risk across various industries.

We just wrapped up the Florida CIO & CISO Executive Summit by Gartner C-Suite Communities, and I’m grateful to serve as one of the CIO Co-Chairs for the Florida Governing Body. What I love about this community is collaborating with peers to solve today’s business challenges with technology and security. Keynotes, boardroom discussions, and plenty of hallway huddles turned into Monday-morning ideas.

My favorite part was seeing my longtime mentor and friend, Sam Curry, CISO at Zscaler, on stage. He presented on one of the most requested community topics for 2025: AI and Zero Trust. I especially appreciate the way he framed it around the three A’s—Authentication, Authorization, and Authenticity. Simple and it sticks.

My short list of summit takeaways:

• Put AI in production with guardrails and clear outcomes

• Keep identity at the center

• Practice resilience with real tabletops

• Simplify the stack

I am looking forward to the 2025 Florida Technology Summit on November 20th in St. Petersburg. I am especially excited that my friend James B., CISO at Tampa General Hospital, will be giving the closing keynote.

Jim’s leadership goes well beyond his role at TGH. He manages serious cyber risk in a complex healthcare environment and still shows up for the Florida tech and security community, sharing what he is learning, being honest about the challenges, and helping the rest of us get better.

Every time I am around Jim, I walk away with something new I can use to improve how we think about and manage cyber risk in my own organization. He brings a calm, experienced, and practical perspective that I really value.
