Hi! My name is Christina. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 12 years of experience in community and behavioral health in the US and abroad. I am currently licensed to practice independently in PA, FL, and OH. I am also an educator and professional development leader--pursuing my PhD as a doctoral candidate at the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. I received an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017, where I was selected for a competitive PEARLS Fellowship, a Program in Mental Health Education Assessment, Recovery and Leadership for Social Workers. From 2013-2015 I served in the Peace Corps as a community development volunteer in the Eastern Caribbean where I also provided leadership as the Volunteer Advisory Council (VAC) representative for the island of St.Lucia. I am passionate about mentorship and education of my fellow social workers-- with a long history of guest lecturing, course instruction at the graduate level, professional development facilitation, providing supervision, and integrating DEIB frameworks. I am committed to developing inclusive and equitable pedagogical practices in higher education and organizational models with an emphasis on the role of belonging, safety, and trauma in learning theories.
