I possess 15+ years in talent acquisition. I’ve worked in various industries, have recruited for many different types and levels of roles, and have managed small teams. I love what I do! Sourcing, hunting, getting to know candidates and their needs/wants, closing them, and hiring them… I like the other side of it too - partnering closely with the business (hiring leaders, HR, Finance, etc) and I build trust quickly by doing what I promise to do. I get to know each hiring leader’s team/needs/wants and design specific searches for them. I target specific companies and go after top talent with my focus on DE&I. I want the job and company to be right for the candidate and I want the candidate to be right for the hiring leader, their team, and the company overall. I’m self motivated to work hard and overachieve goals, I’m motivated by success, I give 100% all the time, and I make work fun! Note: I have a lot of contract work in my history because I’m very good at (and enjoy) getting myself up to speed quickly; fixing problem situations and building/growing teams within large organizations – I love being the utility player! Plus I’ve been laid off twice in 4 years, so I’m making the best out of those situations. 😀
