Partnered with founder & CEO as fractional Head of People to create people operations and employee experience journey for data-driven, funded product startup in the intersection of music, technology, and advertising. Transitioned into Board role 2023.

Set up and led full-cycle, high volume talent acquisition system. Optimized strategic hiring plan leveraging a combination of W2 and 1099 candidate pools based on talent market conditions and company financials. Created collaborative applicant tracking system to manage hiring process in lieu of purchasing off-the-shelf software. Oversaw hiring for lead engineer, data scientist, and media buyer positions. 

Formalized onboarding protocols for all new hires and developed 30/60/90-day evaluations. 

Built total rewards infrastructure, including establishing compensation philosophy for all existing and new roles, marking to market base salaries and equity compensation.  

Established performance management system and career laddering structures (both individual contributor and manager paths).  

Delivered training modules for employees to level up (topics: time management, setting priorities, team hiring, developing self-awareness, and managing others) in anticipation of company growth.

Led PEO selection process, from sourcing to pricing negotiations.  Ensured multi-state HR compliance and ongoing flexibility for acquiring talent.  Installed enterprise level medical and retirement benefits while maximizing budget to balance employee needs and company financials. Manage PEO and 401(k) vendor processes and relationships.

Created digital employee handbook and policies aligning with company core values, mission, and culture.

Developed and maintained multi-year labor model across employees, consultants, and vendors to forecast hiring plan and manage budget.
