Coordinating all public relations and marketing efforts for Mitchell Historic Properties which, at the time, owned Hotel Galvez, The Tremont House and Harbor House Hotel & Marina. Mitchell Properties manages approximately one-fourth of the commercial buildings in historic downtown Galveston.

Worked on accounts for several tourism related clients including Galveston Island Outdoor Musicals, Strand Street Theatre and the Krewe of Brew (now Krewe of Gambrinus) Mardi Gras Parade. Initially, I was hired as an intern and was hired full-time following graduation from Texas A&amp;M University.
