Before I discovered my passion for storytelling and helping brands craft compelling narratives, I was chasing waves—and adventures—around the globe. As an amateur surfer, I dove headfirst into diverse cultures, documenting my experiences along the way. A life-changing injury pivoted my journey and led me to my true calling: storytelling through design, writing, and film. Armed with a graphic design degree and a camera that expanded my creativity, I honed my craft through immersive learning and relentless curiosity. Every photo, word, and experience became part of my creative arsenal, paving the way for a career as dynamic as the waves I once chased. Fast-forward to today: I’ve co-founded two boutique creative agencies, On the Vanguard and Alight Films, and have written, directed, produced, and photographed a wide range of content—from commercials and music videos to documentaries and films. Currently, I lead as Creative Director for Synima Global’s US offices, driving innovative campaigns and cultivating impactful brand stories. With over a decade of experience working with brands like BetterHelp, J.P. Morgan, Mercedes, and Nate, my expertise spans TVCs, OTTs, OLVs, social activations, and fully integrated 360 campaigns. International or domestic, I thrive on delivering work that resonates across platforms and cultures. As a creative professional, I embrace innovation, integrating tools like ChatGPT, Runway, Midjourney, and other tools into my daily workflow to stay at the forefront of what’s possible in advertising. Whether collaborating with clients, partnering with Synima leadership, or working alongside talented teams in NYC and LA, I aim to bring positivity and inspiration to every project. And while the waves may have changed, I’m still riding them—figuratively and literally.
