As a 2 year-experienced Auto insurance Underwriting associate working for a Fortune 50 company, I possess a wide-ranging knowledge of insurance, policy changes, and state-by-state coverage requirements. My work experience has included positions in the fields of Insurance, Special Education, nonprofits and disability services. I have also written articles commenting on contemporary economic policy issues. I’ve attained the Associates in Insurance (AINS®) designation from The Institutes, a B.S. in Human & Education Services from Illinois State, and four Executive education certificates in both Business economics and Macroeconomics from MIT, Cornell University, and the International Business Management Institute (IBMI). I’ve also studied Catholic Social Teaching through the McGrath Institute for Church Life. My particular areas of interest in economics revolves around the topics of price, housing, healthcare, and higher education, as well as economic development and the debate around the social responsibility of business. I’m currently an active volunteer at my local St. Vincent DePaul food pantry.
