TECHNICAL  

•      Implementation of Cloud Technologies ( Microsoft, AWS, Vmware ,Xen , Hypher - V ) 
•	Network Design of WAN Network;
•	Configuration and  integration of Core  Network Technologies (Routers, Switches , Servers, Security equipment using  Multivendor Technologies (Cisco , Juniper ,etc);
•	Configuration and  integration of Access Technology ( (a) Wireless – Wimax  , P2P , P2P Multipoint  (b)  and Fiber ( p2p and (GPON  - Huawei) ) 
•	Configuration and  integration of for VOIP and Collaboration – ( Cisco Unified Call Manager, Unified Contact Center Express, SIP Based Softswitch;
•	Configuration of transmission equipment i.e. SDH , Multiplexers , DWDM; 
•	Configuration and  integration of Servers ( HP and Dell) 
•	Provide day to day support of the switch, router, wireless, security technologies;
•	Training junior staff on network equipment;
•	Detailed training Documentation of network  Components  including System and processes
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
•	Planning and implementation of projects in a timely manner;
•	Building and coordination of project teams to achieve product roll out;
•	Network Documentation;

PRESALES and POST SALES
•	Working with Sales and marketing to roll out products to the general market;
•	Produce technical proposals including business and Tenders
•	Design user training;
•	Acting as an escalation point for technical issues post-implementation

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
•	Conduct research and propose appropriate recommendations on WAN and communication products, services, protocols, and standards in Organization; 
•	Research new products of technologies  as instructed by Management ; 
•	Development new products and services ;

Company Summary: Broadlands Network is a registered public Data Provider. It provides Internet and data services to ISPs,corporate and end user using a  w i d e  r a n g e  access technologies including fiber optic, VSAT, Mobile Wimax , DSL Long range wireless Access ,VHF/UHF etc.

Job Brief : The job was a grand opportunity to setup and integrate numerous cutting edge technologies. The project had all the challenges that every engineer could dream. The first phase was to build up a modern network Next Generation 4G network and second phase was to provide Corporate solutions by bringing to market cutting edge technologies mainly based on Cisco.


Technical

Design, configuration and integration of  Core network infrastructure (Including Routing, MPLS ,Metro fiber , Switches, VPN , Mobile Wimax,Long range Wireless)- Using Cisco on the Core.
Designing, configuration and implementation of Core Internet Infrastructure servers (DNS,
WWW, Email)
Designing and Configuring Last Mile Technologies and Customer premises Equipment. Implimentation of Data Center technologies ( Using Huawei) 
Configuration of Soft switch and Gateway Infrastructure. Troubleshooting network and server related problems. Documentation of Network.
Developing and implementing Management Reports. Training and mentoring junior staff.
Maintenance of network Infrastructure

Consultation
Design ,Configuration of Enterprise Network solutions primarily using Cisco Technologies
Product research and development.
Assist marketing Developing products and Services to run on the network. Presales (Including Proposals, presentation).
