Led the successful launch and de novo build out of City National Bank's entry into the Mid-Atlantic Market while leading the Commercial Banking Group in the Mid-Atlantic.  Partnered with colleagues and executives at CNB headquarters in Los Angeles, along with colleagues from RBC (corporate parent), RBC Capital Markets, RBC Wealth Management and First American Equipment Finance to achieve a successful build out, and acquire and best serve new clients.  

Provided customized credit and senior debt financing solutions along with treasury management, depository and all bank products and services to middle market companies, government contractors and not-for-profit organizations ranging in revenues from $25 million to $1.5 billion and based throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  We specifically provided financing to support:

 - Working Capital;
 - Acquisitions;
 - Equipment (including IT hardware & software; tenant improvements; office & production equipment, etc.)
 - Owner Occupied Commercial Real Estate;
 - General Corporate Purposes;
 - ESOPs;

We are pleased to pursue and hold total credit relationships ranging from $5 million to $150 million, to partner with other financial institutions on club and syndicated transactions as appropriate and to arrange larger credit relationships as needed by our clients.

Organized and managed all credit monitoring, underwriting and portfolio management.  Led all cross selling and treasury management activity.  Established and directed a new lending practice focused on Not-for-Profit enterprises working with their executive management, boards and external advisors.  Trained colleagues in the nuances of Not-for-Profit underwriting and tax-exempt finance.  Also enjoyed a separate similar focus working with middle market companies.
