I've been passionate about information security (and our people) for over 25 years, and have extensive experience in cyber security operations (offensive and defensive), risk management, and leadership. I have hands-on experience leading all stages of cyber security operations, building information security teams and programs, risk management, compliance, and threat and vulnerability management. I am a Veteran of the United States Air Force where I spent my career building, securing, and protecting DoD networks from the most advanced threat actors in the world. I hold multiple industry certifications, including the CISSP, GSLC, and CEH. I love giving back to our InfoSec community; I mentor newcomers to our field, assist transitioning Veterans, and I'm a Founding Board Member of the Columbus, OH chapter of an international non-profit (Civersity) helping to bridge the diversity gap in information security. I served on the Advisory Board for the State of Ohio "CyberOhio" initiative, the Vice Chair of the RH-ISAC and I'm an Executive Committee member of the Cybersecurity Collaborative.
