Adams Beach Hotel

5*, 296 rooms (372 rooms from 2012), 200+ employees (including a team of 15 Managers and Heads of Department), Spa & Wellness Health Centre and Conference facilities for up to 1000 delegates The Hotel belongs to Adamos Ioannou & Sons Ltd.
Directly responsible for all the hotel operations, financial results, budgeting, planning, pricing, contracting (over 75 individual contract negotiation), purchasing, promotion and marketing of the hotel, as well as all Human resource aspects. Actively involved in all F&B, Rooms Division and Reservations matters on a daily basis. Hotel had its own Chapel for Church Weddings and carried out Civil Weddings, (around 150 per year), also in a specially designated area within the hotel grounds
I was fully involved in the upgrading of the hotel from 4* to 5*, in 2006.
During seasons 2007 and 2008 we also rented and managed the 3* Hotel adjacent to the Adams Beach, Yianoulla Beach Hotel, which was bought outright in 2011.
During my 7 years at the Adams Beach, we managed to improve G.O.P. by 70%, and the 2011 season was the best ever since the opening of the hotel 20 years ago.
I was fully involved with the opening of the exclusive a la carte 'Glasshouse Restaurant' on the roof of the Hotel in June 2011.
Through the good financial results the company managed to acquire the Hotel next door, in 2011, thus adding another 80 rooms
During my 7 years, the Hotel achieved several awards from various Tour Operators through the comments of our mutual guests (see below).

General Manager

The Golden Coast Beach Hotel

4* 172 rooms, 130 employees (including a team of 8 Managers and Heads of Department), the Hotel is part of Lordos Hotel Holdings (LHH).
Directly responsible for all the hotel operations, financial results, budgeting, planning, pricing, contracting (over 55 individual contract negotiation), purchasing, promotion and marketing of the hotel, as well as all Human resource aspects. Actively involved in all F&B, Rooms Division and Reservations matters on a daily basis.
During my 10 years at the Golden Coast I managed to increase turnover and profits by more than 100%.
We were the first Hotel to start Anglican Church weddings in South East Cyprus, in 1996/97 with the help of First Choice (about 150 weddings per year). Till today this hotel is one of the most popular for weddings, (both Civil and Church) in the area.
We opened, during my time at Golden Coast, a very successful Greek Restaurant, The Ouzeri, (overlooking the local fishing harbour), which became very popular with the Locals.
I also took the hotel through an expansion of another 56 rooms in 2002. 
During my time there, we managed to make Golden Coast the best Hotel in the south east of Cyprus and achieved various awards from various Tour Operators, including 3 T.U.I. Holly awards (see below).

The Phaethon Beach Sunotel and Club

3* 422 rooms, 280 employees, the Hotel is part of Louis Hotels - Sunotels.
Directly responsible for all the daily hotel operations, as well as departmental financial results, budgeting, planning, purchasing, promotion and marketing of the hotel sales outlets, as well as all Human resource aspects.
I joined this Hotel just after the first season of its operation, managing to overturn a big loss (-Cy£0.5 m) of the opening season to a very healthy profit (+Cy£2.2m) by the end of its second year.
The Hotel was catering for aroung 1000 pax every day and had 3 restaurants (Cypriot, Chinese and Italian), a Cafe, Bar, Pool Bar & Restaurant, as well as a night Club for 400 pax.

Operations Manager

The Pioneer Beach Hotel

4*, 255 rooms, 180 employees, the Hotel is part of Constantinou Bros Hotels (CBH).
Responsible for the initial opening of the Pioneer, in March 1991, and then directly responsible for all the daily hotel operations, as well as departmental financial results, budgeting, planning, purchasing, promotion and marketing of the hotel sales outlets, as well as all Human resource aspects.
The Hotel opened on the year of the Gulf War which was an extremely difficult year for tourism in Cyprus in general, but we became the first hotel in the Paphos area to reach full occupancy on summer 1991 ending that very difficult year with a very healthy profit, which was a result of hard work to achieve a big increase in Sales and a very good reduction of all running Costs.

The Nissi Beach Hotel

4*, 270 rooms, 200 employees.
Directly responsible for all the daily hotel operations, as well as departmental financial results, budgeting, planning, purchasing, promotion and marketing of the hotel sales outlets, as well as all Human resource aspects.
Also fully involved with the beach operations, night club and disco.
