•	Individual project to determine the factors that influence and are related to assessed property values for residential single family detached dwelling properties in the City of Minneapolis. Used Excel and Power Query to analyze 524K rows of parcel data and 41K rows of property sales data.
•	Team project using various statistical techniques to determine the effectiveness of baby formula coupons sent and the factors that led to redemption. JMP statistical software used for analysis.
•	Individual project to gain an understanding of the animals served by the Austin Animal Center in Texas through statistical analysis and visualizations. Used Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn libraries) within a Jupyter Notebook to analyze 80K records with 41 columns.
•	Team project using data from inpatient, outpatient, and beneficiary summary CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) files to build a model to try to predict which patients diagnosed with congestive heart failure were more likely to be admitted to the hospital based on their other diagnosis codes and chronic conditions. Dataset included 17M claims records with 157 attributes.

Lindquist & Vennum

Promoted through three roles -- Accountant (2010-2014), Accounting Supervisor (2014-2015), and Accounting Manager (2015-2018) -- during tenure at Lindquist & Vennum. Managed and trained team members on accounting processes and procedures. Performed routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis of financial and employee data.

•	Increased data integrity and improved calculation efficiency for retirement plan contributions by building and maintaining a payroll database. Analyzed calculations in Excel to ensure accuracy and compliance with plan documents, resulting in successful external audits.
•	Conducted data analysis of sales taxes for three states, serving as the primary liaison with government auditors. Identified and resolved process discrepancies, ensuring compliance and reducing the risk of future penalties.
•	Reduced payroll processing time by 50%, saving $50,000 annually, by streamlining and standardizing processes, which minimized errors and improved service delivery.
•	Executed fixed asset accounting for the Minneapolis office relocation, accurately disposing of and adding over 2,000 assets for financial reporting and asset management purposes.
