I managed and run the cheese shop in Muswell hill for around two years in this time we have started an online business & a wholesale business. We have 6 staff members and I spend a lot of my time visiting farms and cheese suppliers, sourcing new British cheeses. The most important time spent is looking for the latest in artisan and handmade produce. We pride ourselves on being very in touch with the specialist food world.
In the cheese shop we stock over 250 cheeses and I have a huge range of knowledge in this department. I also make cheese myself, which we sell in store.
I have created and designed the website and now manage the online store, which has grown into a business of its own in recent years.
 
I have worked along side TV chefs like Nigel slater and Paul Hollywood, where I have featured on Great British Bake Off and Nigel slater’s Kitchen Diaries. And more recently Sunday Brunch. 
I have an extensive knowledge of specialist foods, wine, meat and cheese.

* Manage, recruit, on-board, train, develop and provide succession planning for all staff and management team in the store
* Follow up with management team to ensure proper training and staff assessment is being completed
* Maintain an overview of all Employee Relations responsibilities in the store to ensure a positive work environment

* Ensure proper staff planning according to store needs

* Unpack delivery truck, receive, open and unpack Cheeses and produce and label.
* Provide direct customer service on the shop floor
* Ring on the register, report and handle all required transactions, issue receipts and pack merchandise  
* Accurate recording of sales figures, report back to directors.
