A good accountant is essential to the success of any small business, but not many people know how to find the right one. I am a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with 10+ years of experience, 3 of those at KPMG LLP, one of the “Big 4” Canadian accounting firms. Prior to starting my accounting practice, I was an accounting manager at Ivory Accounting & Advisory Services. I started my own business to provide accounting services exclusively for female professionals and entrepreneurs. I found that a lot of entrepreneurs that want to grow their business need more support from their accountant than just basic tax preparation. The perception of what an accountant does is also limited to just preparing taxes and bookkeeping. My goal is to help female entrepreneurs become aware that an accountant can help with their overall business strategy and provide more value from the development and implementation of their financial plan to preparing annual financial reports and tax returns. I want to empower my clients to become confident with understanding their financial situation and provide value for their businesses.
