As a Project Manager at Finning (Canada), I play a key role in supporting the business in a variety of initiatives. Some include the long term networks strategy with new facility builds, to product implementation, to partnering with certain areas of the business on their strategic priorities.

-Planning, scheduling and managing a variety of project activities from proposal and initiation through to implementation and benefit realization.

-Establishing and maintaining project structures to control and monitor the deliverables to the business stakeholders and sponsors. 

-Monitoring and reporting on overall progress and initiating corrective action, as appropriate to ensure project deliverables are delivered on time, within budget and meeting the needs of the business.

-Managing risk and ensuring issues are identified at the earliest opportunity and that solutions are identified and implemented in line with change control processes. 

-Ensuring the successful transition of the project deliverables to business and operational teams in a manner that is sustainable.

PROJECT MANAGER 

As a Senior Recruiter, I strategically partner with my Corporate Business Group to assist with all their recruitment and selection strategies for all of Finning (Canada). 

-Full Cycle Recruitment that includes sourcing, pre-screening, short listing, conducting formal interviews, securing references, completing offer letter requests, securing all new hire paperwork for qualified candidates and Senior Management onboarding. 

-Building long term strategic relationships and partnering with Hiring Managers and interview teams. 

-Assisting in the development of ongoing, pro-active, creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies to bring top talent to the company using a variety of tools and techniques.

-Using an applicant tracking system Workday to oversee recruiting reporting metrics and providing recommendations for additional reporting.

SENIOR RECRUITER

As a Recruitment Consultant I play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of recruitment and selection strategies for Finning (Canada) and providing full cycle recruitment support to hiring managers in the Corporate division. 

-Full Cycle Recruitment that includes sourcing, pre-screening, short listing, conducting formal interviews, securing references, completing offer letter requests and securing all new hire paperwork for qualified candidates. 
-Building long term strategic relationships and partnering with Hiring Managers and interview teams.

Launched my career in the staffing industry in 1995 with a global Recruitment firm and steadily moved up within the Vancouver Branch. Commencing my career with them as a Service Coordinator I was later promoted to a newly created role of Team Lead to facilitate the meetings and provide leadership and direction to the team of Recruiters while reporting directly to the Regional Manager for BC. Specifically chosen to step into an Internal Auditor role for Kelly Services BC during our ISO Certification Process. Transferred to Calgary to an Account Manager role to focus on growing and maintaining the sales division. Responsible for both business development and managing existing accounts (National, Corporate and Retail). Moved into a Senior Recruiter role where I was responsible for recruiting for National Accounts and Corporate Accounts.
