Are you chasing money or purpose?
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁.

A few years ago, I was living what most people would call the dream. I had a high-paying job as a biomedical engineer, later on as IT Program Manager.   I was really focused on climbing the corporate ladder.

I worked so hard; aiming for promotions so that I'll get more money, thinking it would make me happy but deep down, I felt something was missing. 

Despite the financial security, I found myself yearning for more meaning and fulfillment in my life.

Then, one day, I had a wake-up call. I realized I was trading my happiness for a paycheck. That's when I knew I needed to make a change. 

I felt this nagging feeling that there had to be more to life than just chasing a paycheck.  

It took me a while to master the courage, but eventually, I made the bold decision to leave my lucrative career behind to pursue my true passions as a coach and astrologer. 

It was a leap of faith that many couldn’t understand, but I knew in my heart it was the right path for me.

Now, I won't lie, it was scary at first. People thought I was crazy to leave a well-paying job for something so different. But you know what? It was the best decision I ever made.

Since then, I've been able to help people in ways I never thought possible. I've found a sense of fulfillment and joy that money could never buy. 

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁? The money started flowing in too, but this time, it felt different. It felt earned, not just collected.

So, if you're stuck in a job that's draining your soul, or if you're torn between chasing money and following your passion, I get it. 

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲: Listen to your Heart as the famous singer Roxette was sang. That's the key.

We didn't go for the typical touristy photo at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Instead, we decided to get creative. 

We had the pleasure of meeting a delightful lady from Seoul working in a special creative businness, and what happened next was pure magic. We took a picture of our iris and it was so much fun. 

And this picture was a celebration of our authentic encounter—a moment we'll never forget!

𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Can you pour from an empty cup ❓ 

I remember one Monday morning I woke up feeling very tired. It felt like the weekend didn't even happen. 

I had to push myself out of bed because I had to be at work by 7:00 am.

As a mid-level manager in a busy corporate job, my days were packed with meetings, emails, and tight deadlines. 

I kept pushing myself, thinking that showing any sign of weakness would hurt my career.

But as weeks turned into months, I started to feel the strain. I was burning out fast, and it was affecting not just my productivity but also my happiness and health. 

My energy was low, my mood was down, and even simple tasks felt overwhelming. 

Yet, no one seemed to notice how much I was struggling. I realized I was caught in a cycle of working too hard and not taking care of myself.

Then it hit me: 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘆. 

So, I made a conscious choice. I started prioritizing self-care. 

I started taking short walks during breaks instead of sitting at my desk all day, indulged in hobbies, and learned to say no to things that drained me. It wasn't easy, but it was necessary.

I realized that, self-care isn't selfish, but essential!

When we take care of ourselves, we're better equipped to take care of others. 

I've experienced firsthand how having more energy, focus, and resilience positively impacted my relationships and work.

So, don't feel guilty about taking time for yourself.

Take a walk, read a book, or binge-watch a show. Whatever it is that makes you feel good, do it.

𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱!

It was during this period of prioritizing my self care, talking breaks, practicing mindfulness that I also found solace in a hobby I've loved since I was 12 years old: '𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆.' 

Exploring my astrological chart gave me insights into my strengths, weaknesses, and deepest desires. 

Astrology helped me understand more about myself, what truly mattered to me and guided me towards a career path that aligned better with who I am, bringing me more fulfillment and purpose.

Eventually, I made a bold decision. I left my corporate job to pursue my newfound passion full-time. 

Now, as a Professional Business Astrologer for the past 5 years, I help people gain insights and clarity through astrology.

I filled myself already. Now, I have so much to pour..

Indeed, prioritizing self-care isn't selfish; it's like recharging your creativity and energy. It helps you do better in everything you do and discover new possibilities.

Have you ever heard of Beltane, often called May Day? 

It's an old celebration that happens on May 1st. People used to light fires, dance around poles, and have fun together marking the transition from spring to summer. 

It's all about welcoming warmer weather and good times; the ideal time to practise gratitude, commune with nature and notice the abundance all around us.

And yeah, today is May 1st! And It's not too late to join in on the festivities. 

𝗦𝗼, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲? 

Here are some simple ways to capture the essence of this ancient festival in your day:

𝟭. 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥: Create and wear a beautiful flower crown or make a floral wreath for your front door. You can even brighten someone's day by leaving little bouquets on their doorstep. It's a sweet May Day tradition!

𝟮. 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘: Take a moment to appreciate all the good stuff in your life. Starting a gratitude journal is a great way to do this. Trust me, it can really shift your perspective.

𝟯. 𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗: Finding small ways to make the world a better place is a great way to mark this ancient festival. Gift your time to a friend, charity or community group or find practical ways to live a more sustainable life.

𝟰. 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗥𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙: Get creative with your look, celebrate who you are now and embrace the spirit of the season. Think colourful clothing, bright manicures and accessories galore.

𝟱. 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗔 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟: You could also throw a simple party. Invite friends over for a Beltane feast, dance around a bonfire (or at least light some candles) and celebrate the incoming summer.

𝟲. 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘: If you don't have time for a DIY festival try to spend some time outdoors, walking, relaxing or simply stargazing. Connecting with nature is always a good idea.

So, let's seize the day, embrace the festivities, and make this Beltane a celebration to remember.

Yeah, I've seen so many people limit themselves due to lack of confidence.

And it’s in those moments of self-doubt that life doesn’t flow as well as it could.

To address this, it’s crucial to look inward and understand who we truly are.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?

"Astrology!"

Yeah, I know what you're thinking. "Does this really work?"

The truth is, astrology is often misunderstood. It's more than just horoscopes. It's a complex system of cosmic signs and planets that can help us understand ourselves and the world around us.

Your birth chart holds the map to your unique life journey just like an acorn contains the blueprint for an oak tree.

You know, if you've never witnessed it, and I tell you that an acorn is going to grow into an oak tree, you'd think, "well, that's just impossible"

But it does.

The acorn contains all the information the Oak tree needs to grow into an Oak tree. 

So also, our birth chart, like an information seed, has in it, all of the experiences, the events, the development in your life, for you to grow into who you are meant to be. 

But the problem we have is, as humans, we try to grow into something other than our true selves.

Acorns don't have free will; they just naturally unfold into who they're meant to become, an oak tree. 

They don't unfold into a pine tree or an apple tree.

But because we have free will and peer pressure, we may often resist what is trying to unfold. 

or perhaps we're not quite confident enough to take that opportunity. 

And it's when we resist, that life doesn't flow so well

Understanding our astrological DNA doesn’t mean looking for signs from the universe.

It means learning from the past, present and future versions of ourselves.

Confidence grows through understanding.

The more you know yourself, the easier it becomes to take opportunities.

So, when life is throwing you opportunities left, right, and center, don't let lack of confidence hold you back.

Let's solve this math equation, shall we?
𝟰𝘅 + 𝟮𝘆 = 𝟭𝟮. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘅.

But you know, trying to solve for X without knowing the value for Y is like trying to reach a destination without a map or expecting a result without all the necessary information.

It would be alot easier to find the value of X if we were given the value of Y.

This analogy extends to life itself. To find your X (your purpose, your drive, your reason for being, you need to understand your Y (WHY)

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴?
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼?

Understanding your "why" brings clarity, direction, and motivation. It's the guiding force behind your actions, the bedrock of your values, and the compass for your decisions.

Until you define your WHY, reaching your goals, aspirations, and ultimately, your fulfillment, remains challenging.

That's why many people find themselves in the wrong job or pursuing the wrong path because they haven't taken the time to discover their "why."

So, pause the calculations and start reflecting.

Ask yourself "What is my 'WHY'"

Because the very day you discover your WHY is the day your life truly begins.
