People talk about passion for their work, mine goes further - a healthy obsession with what best practice talent acquisition should achieve. My experience covers both Talent Acquisition Leadership and Executive Search within the technology sector. I work with technology-led companies that want to improve their approach to the recruitment, and retention of high-performers - without these individuals, all the other stuff is superfluous. I was championing diversity/culture-add and candidate experience before anyone cared :) Building high-performing teams is about fine margins and edges: Gen X, Y, Z, A, Boomers, Zoomers, Millennials – whatever – nothing has changed. We all ask the same question when looking for a new job - WIIFM? I'm a firm believer there is no talent shortage, just a shortage of jobs described in a way talent responds to. Over the past 25 years, I've placed individuals and teams from C-level to graduate, across the UK, Europe, USA, and Australia. I've been around long enough to see the consequences of people’s career choices (including my own) and remember when the internet was all fields.
