I've played a pivotal role in guiding Senior Leaders to their graduation through the End Point Assessment and the results have been nothing short of extraordinary! Distinctions and Merits, alongside their prestigious MBA, prove that my track record for success is applauded.

Operations Manager

I currently manage a multi skilled service team of twelve FTE in the Sheffield Contact Centre. I am responsible for the teams performance and expect a consistent monthly performance across all Key Performance Indicator's. I demonstrate situational leadership on a daily basis and strive for exceptional customer service. I have a strong desire for team development and growth. I coach my team on a daily basis in one to one's, observations, feedback, helping consultants achieve their individual and team stretched goals. I look at ways in which efficiency can improve through processes and empowering my team to look for new and better ways to improve service through efficiency. I am heavily involved with Human Resources completing conduct and capability hearings having been deemed competent to complete first stage through to dismissal. I also conduct recruitment interviews as and when opportunities are available.

Team Manager

I was responsible for the smooth running of the branch, completing mortgage interviews, training and developing my consultants in service and sales roles. I coached my team through regular one to one's, observations and feedback to achieve goals. I had a close working relationship with my Customer Service Managers to make sure that service, audit and compliance standards were maintained as Grade one. I was also an NVQ assessor, regularly signing mine and other consultants off in the area as competent to maintain in role. I had very close working relationships with the Senior Area Management team, regularly running sales campaigns, delivering presentations and being involved in training programmes

Branch Manager

I was responsible for managing the customer flow through the branch making sure there were adequate resources at the counter and sales desks to meet demands. I also greeted customers as they visited the branch introducing them to the consultants and delivered outstanding service. During my time I supported the Branch Manager achieve Grade one audit and compliance checks. Getting things right first time and having the right people in the right place at the right time was of paramount importance

Customer Service Manager

I was responsible for serving customers at the counter, generating sales opportunities, balancing the branch as Bankage Officer, opening new accounts and completing the administration tasks linked to those responsibilities

Random Acts of Kindness 

On Monday I gave my time to Richard Smith as we were planning the December ScreenPop meeting. 

Unbeknown to both of us we did not know where the conversation would go. 

I created a space for him to feel comfortable with being uncomfortable & talk about successes, challenges, frustrations, hopes, dreams & aspirations. 

We had a conversation where I asked questions, respectfully listened & reflected back what I was seeing, feeling & hearing. 

As I say to my children “I coach you all the time, you just don’t realise that’s what I’m doing because we’re having an effective conversation with clear communication” 🙌🏼

I didn’t expect anything in return so imagine my delight when I received this in the post 🧡 

So much care, thought & talent created in this masterpiece & a reminder of how amazing this man is! 

I can highly recommend having a conversation with Richard, who knows what valuable content he could produce for you & your business 

He’s produced some fabulous DISC characters for my blogs & newsletters
